Colour Squadron has the best form for me, as BB says a line through Ericht has him plenty in hand on Prospect Wells, obviously the Henderson horse could spoil the party, should be an interesting race.
Colour Squadron 2/1.

Crying shame that Prospect Wells hasn’t been saved for the ‘Schweppes’ as he would have had an excellent chance, but they clearly see his future differently by taking this easier opportunity, which will screw his clearly handy OR.
Needs a strong pace, but Colour Squadron won’t want any hanging about, and that, and the soft ground, should see him prevail comfortably.January 7, 2012 at 10:22 #385885Crying shame that Prospect Wells hasn’t been saved for the ‘Schweppes’ as he would have had an excellent chance, but they clearly see his future differently by taking this easier opportunity, which will screw his clearly handy OR.

Would that be the 14yo Munir, formerly trained by B Hills?

Fwiw, an easy victory for Prospect Wells today could see him enetered for the Champion Hurdle, which is maybe why he hasn’t taken the handicap route.January 7, 2012 at 14:42 #3859179-1 !!!
Hahahahahahaha ! Lovely. Master Of The Hall would make it a fantastic treble.

Looks like PW was a one hit wonder after all.
How on earth did that go off at around 11 on the machine
I thought I was doing well at 5/1January 7, 2012 at 22:40 #385990C’mon, UrdgyGurdyBurdy, Colour Squadron was the moral winner.
Zip
January 8, 2012 at 04:15 #386005Means sod all, Zip. Any Henderson horse that wins these days, regardless of how lucky they were, is capable of winning the Champion Hurdle and Gold Cup according to Fist. Fed up of it.
January 8, 2012 at 06:01 #386007That’s 6 of your last 8 posts that have been insulting and all aimed at me.
Be a full time job for you soon

Zip
Zip Moral winners don’t get you paid Zippy.
The main reason horses start hanging is because they are tiring or they don’t stay is it not?
Captain Conan ran straight and true and seen his race out Colour Squadron did not.
Barry Geharty reported he thought he’d have ran on even stronger had he had something to race with. So there’s two sides to be looked at not one.
There are times when you can make excuses and there are times when it is unwise.
What’s more important and what you should be asking yourself is which one would you back next time.
Or you can listen to Zarkava who’s sole contribution to this thread is a big fat zero barring another a cheap shot at me.
January 8, 2012 at 15:37 #386061Once again I made a factual statement, Fist.
January 8, 2012 at 19:10 #386079Hurdy, horses don’t always hang because they are beaten. There is no doubt Colour Squadron would have won if he hadn’t been so errant after the last.
And you know it, dear!

Which one I’d back next time would depend on what race they were going for. Wouldn’t be so sure Conan would beat Colour next time.
Zarkarva, your post re Hurdy did make me laugh…I think we all know Hurdy is big and strong enough and man enough and sexy enough to take it.
Let’s all go for a drink together in Switzerland? (I have a cabin there)

7 posts 6 of them aimed at getting my back up then you are off again.
Truly pathetic behaviour for a grown man.
