Some great tipping over the last few days with some big priced winners. Today looked tricky and so it proved, quite a few goign for longer prices to try and play catch up. A couple of you managed to find I’m So Lucky at 9/1. However highlight of the day was The Young Fella managing to land Church Island at 20/1 to go with Mous Of Men at 7/2 earlier in the day and, in the very last race of the competition, snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Commiserations to Craig who led for a long time. Unlucky but you can console yourself with a copy of Timeform’s Horses To Follow Flat, as can Raymo61, the only other player to emerge from the four days ahead.Hope everyone enjoyed themselves and that it added a bit of fun to your enjoyment of Punchestown and Sandown.
Many thanks to Timeform (http://www.timeform.com/shop) for their kind sponsorhship of the competition. Much appreciated.
All that remains is for the three winners to contact me with address details and they’ll get their prizes next week.

April 24, 2010 at 19:12 #292277Well done The Young Fella, nice tipping and thanks to Timeform for providing an excellent first prize and DD for running the comp – great stuff all round.
April 24, 2010 at 19:40 #292282Congratulations Young Fella for an awesome win. I did follow your tip for Church Island too…..so cheers

Happy to have come 2nd as I came 2nd in the Cheltenham competition and 4th in the Aintree competition – a bit like my nap today, Sangfroid, I do well but never quite win.
Thasnk for running these competition but I’ll be disappearing over the Summer as the flat takes over and I’ll probably only concentrate on the Summer Jumps season!!
April 24, 2010 at 19:44 #292284Another excellent competition very well-run by Corm.
Thanks to Timeform for their very generous sponsorship too – I will be turning to Racehorses of 2009 all the way through the flat season.
Well played all, especially Craig. Church Island was 18/1 minutes before the off so the slight drift made all the difference I’m afraid!
April 24, 2010 at 21:29 #292307Well done The Young Fella, brilliant tip that Church Island.
I reckon you will be celebrating your success with the following….
….Fruit Pastilles, Jelly Babies, Bournville Chocolate, Skittles, Liquorice Allsorts and Fruit Allsorts.
