Good morning to everyone.
Three events for me to run by you this week so without further ado it’s eye’s down for hopefully a Full House with these.
I will begin with Round Three of The Race To Dubai which this week takes us to Melbourne and the Sportsbet Australian Masters.
A wide open event i feel with several who could figure but i will row in with these.
For me the best of the home brigade comes via Stuart Appleby, others include Jarrod Lyle and after a couple of good outings recently including in the Hong kong Open, Marcus Fraser is hereby given another shot to bring home the Bacon.
Of the others Tim Clark adds a bit of spice to events and along with the promising Swede Alexander Noren who i have to admit is long overdue a Victory complete my Nap Hand for this.
OK now the Omega Mission Hills World Cup and some good pairings here most notably from Sweden but although the utmost respect goes out to them along with the English duo at the current odds not for me thanks.
Having had a good look at it yesterday i feel that three pairings are more than capable of lifting the trophy come Sunday, those being firstly the USA pair of Ben Curtis and Brandt Snedeker, Secondly Spain’s duo of Miguel-Angel Jimenez and the up and coming Pablo Larrazabal, and finally adding a bit of spice to proceedings the Indian pair of Jeev Milkha-Singh who is playing some good stuff at the moment, and although not at the top of his profession lately Jyoti Randhawa could just come to the boil this week as he is more than capable.
Now that the LPGA season has finished we arrive at the Lexus Cup which features a team from Asia and a team of Internationals, each squad packed with some good players.
A small interest from me in Top Point Scorers here, firstly representing the Asian’s, Yani Tseng and for the Internationals, Helen Alfredsson, it will be interesting to see how my fav lady Paula Creamer performs this week after her problems at the ADT, it is for that purpose that i will not be putting her forward this week as there has to be an element of doubt in her possibly playing, although knowing her she will be ready and willing.
Well that will do it for me, so as always the Best Of Luck to everyone partaking.
Cheers.
Adrian.

The race to Dubai moves to Australia and my decision regarding who to bet on in the Australian Masters is made easier by the fact that I have not heard of over half the players competing. Robert Allenby deserves to be favourite and has played well in recent years but he has often failed to close out winning positions when looking likely to be victorious and he admits that this is a problem for him. He has not won on the pga tour since 2001 and the odds of 8/1 do not appeal to me even though he may feel more relaxed in his native country.
I do not rate Stuart Appleby that much but I don’t rate most of the opposition either in this weak event so I have decided to bet on him for the first time ever at BF odds of 13/1. He finished 3rd in this event last year.
I expect Alexander Noren to gain his first European tour victory this season and I’m hoping that this week will be when he achieves it – this course should suit him. My other picks are Scott Strange who won in Wales a few months ago and Tim Wilkinson who has occasionally played well on the pga tour this year. The Omega Mission Hills World Cup again takes place in China and I was expecting the Swedish team of Robert Karlsson and Henrik Stenson to be priced at about 5/2 for this event so I did not hesitate to take the 4/1 available about Sweden. They should win on the formbook but we all know that it’s not that easy. My other choice is Denmark.
The asian team have won the last two Lexus Cup events and I am betting on Asia at odds of 5/4 to grab the hat trick and keep all the golf balls
It could be close between Asia and the International team but the event location is in Singapore which will be to the Asian’s advantage and they may just edge it with the help of the home supporters.Happy punting

NO Bets for me this week..Looks tricky
One player who has caught my eye in the Australian Masters is DANIEL CHOPRA who despite 4 missed cuts in a row is attracting support
