Its the relegation six pointer at old Trafford this weekend! ( Monday night)
    Two sides desperate for points.
The race for the premiership is already over after just two games.
I cannot at this moment see man city being headed. They had a massive lead which Liverpool ate into last time and then as the wheels came off Liverpool’s challenge, it still went to the final 45 minutes. I was on Liverpool and had a five minute window to cash out on them and choose to ride the wave 🌊. The rest is history and I’m convinced Manchester city are focused on making no mistake this time round. The loss of Marne is there for everyone to see. Everything revolved around him in the Liverpool forward line. How underestimated, 1. he was and 2. how he felt is now very clear.
Today’s action sees an opportunity to tap into the premierships leaky defences

    TOTTENHAM v WOLVES
    Spurs to score
    2+ goals
    CRYSTAL PALACE v ASTON VILLA
    Palace to score
    1+ goals
    EVERTON v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
    Forest to score
    1+ goals
    FULHAM v BRENTFORD
    Both Teams To Score
    Accumulater

HARRY KANE to have a shot on target 🎯
    Evens Skybet.
The toughest ones there, are the London derby which is a likely draw, so I’m hoping they don’t simply cancel each other out and go goaless. But they both like to attack and Fulham are great at the set piece. A penalty in that game too is nailed on. ( At least unless var operater intervenes) as has been proved in Italy Germany and south America allowing an outside source to control the outcome is a come-on to match fixers.
Forest too have the hardest task to score away so early in the season and Everton despite their concentration lapses and are coming to hand. But a goal here would be a great achievement and a draw a great statement. Unlikely but they are at least dreaming.
HARRY KANE to have a shot on target 🎯
Is evens which would cover the stake on my acca.
Harry Kane likes to distribute and play deep which limits his opportunities. The team that he works tirelessly for is full of goalscorers. He is unselfish as well and perhaps skybet are playing to these attributes in offering this bet.
But Wolves are in a mess and this type of opposition is food and drink to Kane and one of the more likely chances for him to get into the box and have a crack himself. So on the balance I am taking the bait here.
That said Spurs are in a good vein of form and even a poor display at Chelsea earned a draw.
Wolves could not be in worse shape.
Kane needs another goal to beat Agueros record of 184 prem goals.
Spurs are also approaching 1000 premiership goals.
Another option as this game game progresses is the PENALTY. Wolves will be under a lot of pressure and free kicks conceeded in their own half and a penalty look a strong possibility.
    A penalty to be taken.
The last time I selected spurs they did not score or have a shot on target!!
    TWO UP DOUBLE
    Spurs and Glasgow Rangers
If your side get a two goal lead sky bet pay up as a win bet.
So Rangers win away to Hibernian
    Spurs win home to wolves
    Is in a win double.
    Matches kick off at 1230

Minutes to go and 9 man Rangers let it go.
    Hibs equalised.
    Spurs didn’t manage two goals.
    Harry Kane bet collected.
Back in with remaining acca selections!

    Treble landed.

    Arsenal Bournemouth
Arsenal are two Nil up and Sakka’s defender is on a yellow card, before halftime.
    4/1 for a sending off.

    Manchester united vs Liverpool

Liverpool are not at their best, but this match could not have come at a better time for either side.
They are feeling the effects of life without Marne.
There is a decent offer of Salah and Diaz to have two shots on target each at 9/1 Skybet.
Limit is ten pounds. But a potentially nice return there.
Another day and this might have been a full blooded draw, but if Liverpool do not win tonight then they have a crisis.
Liverpool to win tonight to get a first win on board and they will have received a boost by Newcastle throwing them a lifeline yesterday by stopping Manchester city’s march.
The “two up” offer where a firm pays up as a win on a side going two goals clear is tempting but the two shots each for Salah and Diaz moreso.
SALAH and DIAZ to have two shots each on target 9/1.

    Championship
    Sunderland Norwich
    It’s half time 0-0
Sunderland under caretaker coach and fired up.
If Norwich score it’ll be against the run of play. A shot had been cleared off the line.
    Sunderland next team to score.

    28/08 14:00
    ASTON VILLA v West Ham
    28/08v 14:00
    Wolves v NEWCASTLE
    28/08 16:30
    Nottingham Forest v Tottenham ( draw)btts
All three games, home teams to score.
    Villa 2+
Despite Spurs good start to the season, plenty of cracks in their performances.
Great opportunity for Forest to get some points on the board against a top six side.
Son needs a big game. He has been the most unsettled by spur’s new arrivals. Wide open match with goals likely. 4+GOALS to be scored.
Villa have found things very tough but face a West Ham side struggling to cope with the fixture list after a good campaign last year.
An ideal opportunity for Villa to get points here.
Newcastle starting to play good attacking football and should get 2+ goals here and after a tough start should win. Wolves had a good first half at spurs and will go all out for a repeat in the first half against Newcastle. Newcastle should get control of the match second half to win.

    Forest vs spurs
    3-3 draw
    3-2 either side

    LIVERPOOL NEWCASTLE
    BOURNEMOUTH WOLVES
    plenty of goals likely tonight.

Several offers over the Liverpool match of which Diaz to have two shots on target at 3/1 looks good.

    Old firm and Merseyside derbies.
Full blooded encounters here and cards very likely.
A red card in both games.
    100/30 and 5/2 double. :negative:
Frank Lampard has settled down at Everton.
He has set out his stall clearly to his board and I’d be surprised to see them push him out in a hurry.
    PREMIER LEAGUE
    Everton v Liverpool

    Brentford Leeds

BRENTFORD to score +1 goal :good:

    Chelsea West Ham

CHELSEA to score +2 goals :good:

    Newcastle Crystal Palace
NEWCASTLE to score +2 goals :negative:
    Nottm Forest Bournemouth
NOTTM FOREST to score+2 goals :good:

    Tottenham Fulham
TOTTENHAM to score +2 goals :good:
    Wolves Southampton

    Aston Villa Man City
MAN CITY to score +2 goals :negative:

Steven Gerrard in contrast seems at odds with his players. Perhaps they are uneasy with his perception that he was running a bigger more committed outfit at Rangers. The other problem is he is a player who has been there and done that and players don’t sit well with that, knowing the manager thinks he could still do a better job on the pitch. He is due at Liverpool in the next couple of years and I think he will go there before klopp leaves, likely as director of football. With that in mind he is my suprise choice for the SACK RACE.

Salah to have 1+ shot at evens here.
He has struggled recently without Mane, but showed a return to form against Newcastle with two assists. Everton are just what he needs to get back in track with an attempt at goal.

Salah delivered and his 1+ bet paid out.

Time to come out of my sporting Life shell.
I’ve had a few go’s on the us open thread and nailed the men’s semi final winner yesterday.
But the women’s final tonight is a tough one between the world number 1 and the first women’s player to make the big breakthrough from African tennis.
    SWIATEK (Poland) v JABEUR (TUNISIA)
The polish player has an excellent record in big matches and has beaten top ten opponents the last nine times.
Although Jabeur has recorded straight sets win the last two matches, those sets were not won easily conceeding plenty of games in the process.
Swiateks completion rate and percentages are all higher.
There is in my opinion, a strong possibility of a tie break at some stage during the match.
I’m going with my head over anything else on this game and going along with Swiatek being the fresher of the two and her big match experience to see her through even though JABEUR comes to the final in very good form and is progressive.

    SWIATEK
    To win
    Tie break?
    Yes

Picked the winner of both men’s and women’s final at the weekend.
    Cricket this morning.
Any England Player to Hit a Six 2nd Inns (Day 5) @ 5/1.
England only need 30 odd runs and while they will guard their wickets, I still think there is just enough time to put one into the stands.
I know safety comes first, but somehow a way needed to have been found to finish the match yesterday. Even if it meant spin bowlers only by mutual consent of the captains. Common sense really ought to have prevailed.

    Liverpool face Ajax (eye axe)
I went through my childhood calling them A.Jax.
(that abrasive stuff that cleaned the bathroom imagine calling that eye axe….)
Liverpool are in very poor form despite that record breaking bashing of Bournemouth and are coming off a nil Nil defeat at Everton.
Ajax beat Rangers easily and are most dangerous on the counter attack while Liverpool were routed to nil at Napoli.
Liverpool look vunerable defensively and it is hard to envisage Ajax not scoring here.
I’m sure that Liverpool will put in an improved display tonight.
Without Mane they lack cohesion up front at this level and it seems to have destabilized the whole team. Virgil van Dyke staying in defence would be a start.
Until they refind their structure, teams will dismantle them.
I’m not sure how it works but you can get Ajax and draw as one entity.
    Draw and Ajax no bet.

Ajax to score two goals + is the main call.
    ———————————————

Efficient performance and Ajax did not take the sole chance to add that second goal.
Danny Blind had a free header and put it wide 15 minutes from time.
    Small margins.

    Hi Nathan,
No I’m not but those are good odds.
Wolves should manage a goal today too.
My next play is the rugby.
Salford could pull off a shock this afternoon at saints.
They are +10 on the handicap line and are match fit.
As regular season winners saints have had a break going straight to the play off semi here. Salford have hammered St Helens twice already.
Salford are match fit and won 28-0 at Huddersfield last week.
Every thing points to a saints win to be fair but Wigan were turned over by Leeds last night and I think Salford can at least defy the handicap line.
    Kicks off at 1pm.
SALFORD RED DEVILS + 10 the handicap line (10/11)
    Vs Saint Helens.
    MANCHESTER UNITED LADIES
    To score FIVE+ vs READING @ 5/6
They are currently 2-0 up after 16 mins
They should have three by half time hopefully four…..

Man utd ladies 4_0 up after 35 minutes cannot find another goal….
    ———————————————
SALFORD couldn’t pull off a win at saints, but easily covered the handicap in a tight game.
They were a little too cautious before the break opting for a tactical two pointer rather than go for a try and that backfired.
Saints took a drop goal and stretched clear and head to old Trafford for what looks a very tough final against Leeds.
James Roby will certainly be calling it a day after that and Leeds who have come from last position to grandfinalists have absolutely nothing to lose.
Credit to Reading for keeping a clean sheet from 35 minutes into a match they were losing four nil. That must be something of a record.
    MANCHESTER UNITED LADIES 4
    READING 0.
