    I’m confused by Bangor’s "Tote", it sounds like plain fixed odds betting. So is this actually a parimutuel system (like AmTote), or just the track acting as the bookie?

    It is fixed odds betting not a pool. I think the confusion came about because Bangorbet took over all the old Tote windows and started up after the Tote had left the course.
