Hi Seagull,

bank holidays are always very tough days, and I tend to avoid them. As I havnt had a chance to read through all of your thread yet – are there any days you think are tougher than others?

    Paul,
I have been doing this long enough not to lose confidence. Problem with any system is people jump ship during a losing spell.

    Seagull,

Yep. I know what you are saying. I just follow the selections you put up on the thread, as I just haven’t got the time to double check. So I am not doing as well as you as I didnt start at the beginning of the thread and also missed the 12/1 and 7/1 winners as they were not put up. MY FAULT I KNOW FOR NOT CHECKING

I have given this 5opts, basically £500 as I feel it is a sound selection method. I use superodds for ALL the selections as I do not have access to BF all the time. I like to put all my bets on at once as well. BF would really make a big difference when the long priced stuff comes in and this is where I think you will succeed hands down.

    Keep em coming.

    lol
at present doing them e/w would be making a l.s. profit but overall more money is made win only. just a matter of time.

    Seagull,

Whenever there is a bit of a losing run, and they are inevitable, doubts creep in.

I am pleased to hear you say that your confidence is unaffected by these blips. I think your methods are pretty sound and you have reached the happy state of not worrying too much about results.

The oft quoted professional gambler, Amarillo Slim(I think that’s his name) says:

    Decisions, not results are important.

Once you have set up your criteria, in your case Trainers for Courses, and you are happy with it, you can forget about individual results.

I feel the same about the ratings method I use. I expect long losing sequences but have the confidence to keep going because I’m sure the winners will come.
