Just wondered what everyone thinks of this beast?

I love it when a horse progresses through handicaps into a genuine Group performer (Halling a prime example and possibly one of my favourite horses ever). Could Third Set do the same do we think? Must have a cracking chance at Salisbury today, and 3-1 is a great price. The only doubt is the soft ground really. (Well, that and the fact that he’s now with Godolphin…)

Would be interested to hear everyone’s thoughts; both on today’s race and the horse’s progression in general.

He has some very solid form and as you say the ground may be a concern as he was beaten a long way on his only run on softer ground. Also he hasn’t run since Feb in Dubai so must have had problems. I would tend to want to wait and see with this one.

Redford and Redolent looks to have their ground.
