I received a video on my phone today in which Farage is seen thrashing the Governor of the Bank of England on Question Time. It was very realistic until the end when you realise it was an AI generated scam which will cost hundreds of people £250.
Even worse, what Farage was saying in this video many (including me!) would agree with. He was arguing that it is wrong banks pay you around 1% when you lend them money, but charge you around 20$ when you borrow money. It was a classic attack on the ‘Establishment’.
It is now obvious how Reform will aim to dupe voters. They will illustrate what is wrong about everything and how they will sort it out. Based on this video I believe the gullible will be easily persuaded.
March 26, 2026 at 17:00 #1761027I’ve been talking to a colleague this afternoon who is leaning towards voting for Reform both in May and in 2029. I asked him if he enjoyed his annual holidays, sick pay, flexible working, etc. When he confirmed that he did, I pointed out that all of these will be lost if Farage gets in. His argument was that coming out of the ECHR would only be a good thing – yet somehow the RWNJ call those on the left naive. The mind boggles.

Really?!
Is it going to be proposed employment legislation under a Farage-led government?
Are they proposing to force companies to ditch their existing employee benefits, esp if they’re very generous for employees?Hmm….first i’ve heard.
March 26, 2026 at 17:41 #1761032The reason they want to leave the ECHR is nothing to to with immigration, it’s because they want to do things that would currently be illegal under it that will affect most or all of us.
If you don’t believe that a party which is in the pockets of billionaires would at best water down current employee protections then I have a bridge to sell you.
March 26, 2026 at 18:13 #1761037“first i’ve heard.”
Now, why doesn’t that surprise me? 🤔
March 26, 2026 at 18:15 #1761038So, you cant answer me, Glad….as usual
March 26, 2026 at 18:53 #1761042Yeah, right. That must be it. 🙄
By the way, we’re still waiting for you to provide evidence of the antisemitism which you claimed was rampant on the forum.
March 26, 2026 at 18:57 #1761043It seems to me that many on this forum have not been paying attention. REFORM has already stated:
(1) They will spend £2 billion to set up an ICE type agency to get rid of inmigrants, thereby neutralizing the NHS. Which means no free health care.
(2) They will not support European human rights, which will eliminate our human rights.
(3) They will abolish the Employment Protection Act, which means we will subject to American rules comprising a maximum of 2 weeks holiday a year and no contract of employment. It’s hire and fire in the USA.
So the person enjoying a contract of employment is tearing it up if he votes REFORM.

There are two options:
1. They haven’t seen it
2. They have seen it but are too thick to understand itMarch 26, 2026 at 20:07 #1761047I think there is a third. That they have seen it and do understand it. But think it won’t apply to them and don’t care about those that it will apply to. First they came for etc etc Anyway, for the first time ever Farage was grilled about his parties policies, record and morals in a way I’ve never before seen happen on the news; ITV and Ch4. I await to see if the BBC and Sky will do the same but one can but hope.
March 27, 2026 at 11:28 #1761087Moehat, you are spot on. In the States many people voted for Trunp believing “It won’t happen to me.” Of course it did and many running successful businesses are now bankrupt.
I hope people wake up in time here.
March 27, 2026 at 21:48 #1761141No family influenced voting found to have taken place in the by election. Farage calls it an establishment whitewash.
Now where have we heard this before?
March 27, 2026 at 22:14 #1761142If it’s a ‘whitewash’ then why doesn’t this charlatan present the evidence of that to us? If he doesn’t have any then surely he was wasting police time making the initial complaint.

Haven’t you answered your own question? 🤔
March 27, 2026 at 23:24 #1761154Daily Express:
An Afghan migrant who laughed as he raped a girl of 12 should be deported “immediately”, Nigel Farage has demanded.Disgusting.
March 28, 2026 at 06:13 #1761159What and then return to the UK on a small boat in a few months time and offend again?
March 28, 2026 at 07:16 #1761163It is indeed disgusting that the first thing Farage and the Express do after such a heinous crime is to make it all about themselves and their political agenda.
