Couldn’t be having a bet at this stage with the market so uncertain. LTD running would be lovely stuff.
Latrobe is still a big old price for the irish one this weekend, 16s Ladbrokes is massive. Surely he goes there with OOSG out, ground looking decent and his best run coming at the Curragh.
September 11, 2018 at 11:10 #1373562Interestingly Kev, Paddys are blue on oddschecker 4/6 on OOSG now….
Have pushed out FOH to 10s and Latrobe 25s!!
Might be a pointer.
IGNORE- oddschecker are ****

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 11, 2018 at 11:13 #1373564AOB to train the winner 6/4 sky price boost.
September 11, 2018 at 11:15 #1373572Hadn’t noticed that, Kev.
Is Mike Dillon still at Ladbrokes? He was in with “the lads” and used to have the inside information from Ballydoyle. Interesting they are not only top price for Latrobe in the Irish St Leger but also shortest for the English too!I think Kevin Blake has an ear in the Ballydoyle camp too and may be Latrobe’s position with other bookies markets have been affected by his contradictory words on ITV last weekend. “I think it’s 50/50 where Latrobe goes but in my opinion he’s more likely to stay in Ireland”.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 11, 2018 at 11:20 #1373589Oddschecker glitch pal, FOH 2/1, OOSG 5/2 & Latrobe 5/1 with Powers. The same happened the other day and i had to double check before i bet Latrobe!
September 11, 2018 at 14:53 #1373618Market suggesting LTD goes here, all blue on oddschecker. I have no more info than that but I’m taking a chance she does while 7/2 is still on offer. JG has been a big supporter of this race over the years so why not!?
If she does run I expect her to win.
September 11, 2018 at 15:05 #1373621Taken the 3/1
She’s collapsed in price today so I now expect her to run.
September 11, 2018 at 15:22 #1373623she was generally 7/2 4/1 yesterday afternoon, so not much of a price move.
With the french horse out for the season, the Prix Vermaille looks a cake walk for her….will they really throw the dice at the St Leger??
I was about to click confirm bet on her…but not just sure.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 11, 2018 at 18:01 #1373633I had a little bit of 7/1 LTD matched at 1:34 yesterday afternoon, Jack; price colapsed to 7/2 or 4/1 by late afternoon and has continued today.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 11, 2018 at 19:06 #1373636Totally ground dependant jack, france are getting some good weather atm, the ground was listed as good to soft on sunday but innactual fact it was nearly good to firm
She wont run in the vermaille if its fast, so legers likely, guesswork atm, vermaille is what i think will happen, but wont be surprised if she comes here now, although the market is suggesting here now
Latrobe will definitely stay in ireland with OOSG out
September 11, 2018 at 19:26 #1373639Yep GT she was 7/2 + 4/1 yesterday and there was still 7/2 when i replied..collapse happened more so yesterday than today…but here it doesn’t matter as now there’s only 10/3 available!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 12, 2018 at 07:16 #1373675G/S soft in places this morning, but that looks like it for any more real wet stuff
according to myweather2 Doncaster racecourse
September 12, 2018 at 11:41 #1373685Gosden said early doors that we wouldn’t see Lah Ti Dar at her best until she had a mile and a half and cut in the ground. That suggests the Leger should be a gettable distance.
I just get the feeling they don’t think the younger filly can cope with Enable in the Arc, so the Leger may be her main target this autumn.
I’ve done Lah Ti Dar as a saver but Old Persian is my main bet at 8/1.
Surely someone will go 2/1 Kew Gardens on Saturday morning?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 12, 2018 at 14:07 #13737033.23 slow, I know must winning jocks call it good, but JC described it as such
Interesting when they race on round course
September 12, 2018 at 14:22 #1373706I’ll bet Latrobe here if he is declared, he surely can’t be worse than last time.
September 12, 2018 at 17:20 #1373728And there it is
Lah ti dar runs
September 12, 2018 at 18:30 #1373731Lah Ti Dar will take her chance in Saturday’s William Hill St Leger. Trainer John Gosden told the Racing Post: “After much discussion with the owners today it has been decided that Lah Ti Dar will go for the St Leger.”
As if the owners are going to be in much discussion with JG today…
