    Wells Farhh Go 33/1.

Kept on nicely in the King Edward from the back which is never really ideal on the round course. Extra distance and a bit of cut to slow down the others will be perfect and he’s being targeting at the race.

    Southern France 12-1.

O Brien still calls him a big baby who will improve and goes to the Leger he says.

Thought The Pentagon was the big eye catcher yesterday. 33’s available in a place, doubt it will last long mind you. :good:

Having backed Lah Ti Dar ante-post for the Epsom Oaks not sure I want to go in for her again; but that was impressive.

No doubt in my mind LTD is better than Forever Together.

I don’t think anything will get close to Kew Gardens if Ltd doesn’t turn up.

I said after his last run that Old Persian was the last value at 8/1.

Kew Gardens looks tight at his odds. Lah Ti Dar would have an excellent chance but there seems little true prestige in winning a Leger these days. Kew Gardens is as low as 11/10 for this year’s race and I think it’s worth thinking back to last year’s Leger and noting that Capri came in after an Irish Derby win and went off 3/1.

If Old Persian runs his race he will surely place at least but I just went win only at 8/1 after his last start. With a pull at the weights Kew Gardens holds every chance but I see no value at all in his price. There is a chance that rain could scupper his chance and his come from off the pace style.

Nelson was a no show from my early bet, being blatantly used as a pacemaker all year, never allowed to claim his best possible position with the rules flouted.

Hopefully Old Persian can do the business instead.

Old Persian 8/1 was my idea of the best value. In a race that does not look to have much strength in depth.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

“What about SEXTANT who just won a 12f maiden for SMS?”

Sextant has tons to find on form. He didn’t actually progress much from his debut in landing a maiden.

I don’t think he’s actually in the Leger and he’s entered up in a Novice race on Friday. He’s surely a horse for next year. I would imagine he will start in Handicaps with a workable mark. The third horse in Sextant’s maiden, Prabeni, was turned over at 4/11 Fav in Monday’s Windsor race.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

With Enable’s good reappearance and Cracksman apparently on track for the Arc too, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if there’s a late switch back to this race for Lah Ti Dah.

Dee Ex Bee’s shortening up with give in the ground likely. ;-)

Dee ex bee will need more than give in the ground, a miracle is more than likely needed, would be a piss poor renewal if he were to win, has only put one run together in 6 starts this year that would give him a remote chance in this.

I agree regarding lah ti dar although shortning for the vermaille and arc is looking more likely or atleast the vermaille then possibly something else

His form has been poor, his trainer has thrown him at races here there and everywhere, quite unnecessarily.

In Kew Gardens we are talking about a decent horse but he’s best price 13/8….his G1 win formwise was piss poor. The Queens Vase wouldn’t be stellar either and granted he was eye-catching enough LTO, he was still third….

Not sure Old Persian is wanting the 1m6….Loxley could be decent…Does Latrobe run?

Not sure the St Leger looks very good if i’m honest….

Weather wise, i don’t think the Metoffice has lots of rain forecast? the odd shower?

Yeah i heard AOB be quite negative on OOSG……It will be interesting to see what actually turns up here….He isn’t a horse i love, but Dee Ex Bee will probably be a fair bit shorter, not even due to support, just because of a lack of real quality
