Crickey The Renaissance System was just about the poshest name I could come up with that had some bearing to it’s forebear the 5/4 & Top 4 created by Del all those years ago.
Lamby150 was confused, and I can so easily do that (unintentional of course) but as from tomorrow I will continue my postings in the vain hope of a descent run being continued.

July 8, 2010 at 19:27 #305513I was dragged away from the p.c. by Mrs B because my dinner was ready and before I completed the posting.
Anyway, so there is no further confusion perhaps it is best the rules are laid out before any further selections are posted.
Based on
Del
‘s rules of ALL the top ratings I made up a hybrid picking 6 components from both my daily papers The Sun and The Mail: –
Any selection must have TOP ratings from both papers, Formcast (Mail) & Sun Rating (SUN)
It must then be forecast favourite – both papers
Must have minimum 2 tips from the papers 4 main tipsters: –
Robin Goodfellow & Gimcrack (Mail) and Templegate & Tom Pepper (Sun)Also I do like the selection to be No1 in the Odds Checker market.
Staking – never my strong point (suggestions very much welcome) will be along the lines of 2 points win for single selections of evens and greater and 1 point multiple(s) for those selections under evens (odds on).

The first day in a "new home" and before long I hope to be able to spell renaissance without double checking.
A busy day to start with but being as there is only the one odds on selection today there will not be any multiple bets.

much about saved the day which ended with a small 0.25 loss. I thought it was going to be a stinker of a first day in our new home. Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow.

It is sometimes hard to pick one’s self up following a bad day but it has to be done. Todays selections are: –

Lingfield 3.30 GIVE YOUR VERDICT early price 6/4

plus to odds on selections: –

Perhaps, just perhaps there could be some interesting times ahead. Without the D Mail (Sunday) I was forced into some experimentation which I may introduce into The Renaissance but it is as they say, early days.

Yet again yesterday must be classed as an almost brilliant day despite a nice profit. I must confess my planned staking has rather "gone to pot" and because of the reasonable strike rate and low prices multiple bets have become more attractive.
