Anyone on the forum living near enough to the track? What’s the weather like at the moment? Maybe someone can post in here every time it rains over the next 2 weeks
That could be every few hours! There’s a lot of rain forecast this weekend but otherwise it looks pretty dry, I’d expect it to be good to soft come the first day, as it invariably always is…

10 out of 10 every year. Official going report: “good-soft”.
However, times on the day suggest the true state of the ground can be anything between soft and good-firm.

Its more what the weather does 2-3 days before weekend of 11-12th as the forecast is only accurate for that time span given I’ve lived round here for longer than I care to remember !

Just took the dog round the course and it’s a lovely sunny day here in Cheltenham. Fairly strong chilly breeze and the ground feels good despite the recent rain.
With 9 days to go and rain forecast it’s looking like a bit of cut in the ground.

Long range weather forecast looks a lot better, only 2 days of rain over the next 10 days – the Tuesday is currently cloud with sunny intervals…where’s this rain and fog Lucy Verasamy predicted?!
Watched the weekly forecast and there is plenty of rain this week. The first day is usually on the good side of good to soft. Even with a couple of dry days that would seem pretty unlikely this time around. Probably bad news for Brain Power, Ordinary World and Peregrine Run amongst others.
According to BBC it’s only raining tomorrow and next Saturday…I know it can change a lot in the meantime but it’s a lot more encouraging that it will end up the mandatory good to soft…
Just left cheltenham now and it was raining quite hard. TBH a couple of days of rain between now and then (which is what’s forecast) will leave it on the good side. It drys very quickly out there
Any update on the weather; BBC seem to be saying it will be dry this week but someone said on Facebook that it was raining this morning

Some showers expected before Tuesday but nothing major to affect the going significantly.
Quite a bit of rain for today according to Metcheck. More at the weekend but probably not enough to affect the going. Possibility of heavy rain all day on Thursday though so could affect Friday’s going
