Spot on with the overrounds Dave Jay; its no surprise they have gone up. The question is what were the overorunds working at in the morning and 10 minutes before the off? I’ll have a look at this to see if the bookmakers have taken full advantage by modifying their early prices, or whether its just the SPs that have changed. I would note however that Smoothly Does It was 11/2 on the off but returned at 5/1.

November 7, 2006 at 16:11 #61814Just to point out that I haven’t forgotten about this thread but there were no bets today and I was too busy yesterday to check.

will only get double odds taking those two prices but I don’t trust the betting market at Wolverhampton.

November 12, 2006 at 00:37 #61821Do you keep a running total FSL and, if so, what is it?
November 12, 2006 at 13:02 #61822Corm its a profit of roughly 33pts (+-1) to this point.
Some of the selections often seem strange but I try to go for horses that have the advantage of a run as they are more likely to run to form or improve, and would much rather pick a horse with form figures of 222223 than 116158

November 13, 2006 at 12:22 #61823A loss of 27.6pts leaves an overall profit of just 6pts. :(
With that in mind I’ll go for some more lucratively priced horses today and will take a different approach.
4:05L Will If I Want (8/1)
1:20Ling Hope Your Safe (20/1) – the reasoning for this is if the newcomer needs a run or isnb’t very good then this is suddenly a very good place chance at 5/1
1:00S Molto Duro (25/1) – best chance its had to collect some place money
2:30W Exit Strategy (9/1) – has a squeak on form
3:40Leic Devils River (40/1)

November 13, 2006 at 15:06 #61825If you abandon the Lucky 15, you lose the bonus of triple odds for 1 winner, a significant concession in my opinion.
