The two worst runs in Lalor’s career have been in adverse conditions – Newbury and Sandown

He just doesn’t like winter conditions and spring weather at the Festival will, i.m.o, see a repeat of that impressive performance back in November.
He smashed two very good horses and did it with Johnson taking several pulls during the race.

Soft at Aintree when he won the G1 last season doesn’t back that up?

    Kalashnikov beaten

No great surprise – going right handed, should be in the JLT, Kalanisi a poor sire for chasers.

He said it earlier at his stable tour vautour, smallest team in the last few years coming over, doesnt like that some of his horses have had to have flu jabs which set them off there work, hence why laurina is running today

If Cilaos Emery doesn’t make it then 16/1 each way NRNB for Hardline looks the bet for me. Elliot said this is where he’s going with Mengli Khan going to the JLT. Arkle could be a small enough field come the day so great each way value there. Beat Us and Them by 10L over 2 mile 1F which is 3 lenghts more than le Richebourg beat him.

Didn’t really fancy him for win purposes really, but hopefully surprise me!

Such a shame about Cilaos it seemed to be the dark horse of the race

Quickly becoming one of the worst Arkle renewals in a long time. You would have to think some of the JLT horses will now be tempted to re route

Is Cilaos Emery definitely out? He’s gone out of the Paddy Power market but I didnt hear that he was officially out; thought he was just doubtful.

Delighted with my 16/1 each way NRNB on Hardline; he’s into 12’s now. If Defi Du Seuil and Glen Forsa go to the JLT then Duc De Genievres is second fav behind Lalor. Very open race now.
