December 7, 2025 at 18:28 #1746997The last GB trainer to win the GB trainers’ championship is a couple of places behind using this scoring system than he is in the actual BHA trainers’ championship. He doesn’t even have a King George entry either. How the mighty have fallen. It’ll be interesting to see if he can close the gap, using either metric, a bit in the second half of the season or not.

December 29, 2025 at 16:48 #1749004I dont think he needs the grade 1s, at least not loads. He’s got some grade 1 horses, so he’ll get some.
He’s mopping up grade 2s and valuable handicaps and targeting them with precision.
The whole jumps game just looks more competetive this year. Mullins will still win a hell of a lot of the top races, course he will but i dont think he’ll get enough.
December 29, 2025 at 16:57 #1749005Today Nicholls became the 3rd trainer this season to have a winner in every class/grade.
Mullins moved up to 59th overall place and has the same amount of points as Curtis on 26 pts. Curtis has had 2 more winners than Mullins.

January 4, 2026 at 20:24 #1749587Thank you Gladiateur. Until you posted I hadn’t realised I had won the award!
Looks like I’ll be getting a bit of time off from it during this cold snap.
January 4, 2026 at 20:27 #1749588I bet Tizzard is glad the championship isn’t based on this
January 5, 2026 at 08:40 #1749611If there were a table for Class 2 winners Tizzard would be in 2nd place with 7 wins (Skelton has 18).
Interestingly Tizzard has only had 15 Class 4 and 5 winners which would place him 31st in those classes of winner.
