Can’t believe this happened 19 years ago…..

That was some horse; the best chaser Ive seen in my lifetime.

Watched a 90 minute interview with Ruby on the RacingUK website earlier this week where he discussed all the great horses, and what a list it is, he has ridden over the years. He was adament that Kauto was the best he rode.

Because Ruby never gets it wrong .. As Findlay said if Denman hasn’t had his heart flutter coming up the hill he,d have destroyed Kauto by 20 plus lengths , Prime Denman is the better horse

He got that right Glad …. and Ruby got that wrong , to each there own but I’ll always be in the Denman camp , his 2nd Hennessey was a great punting day , couldn’t believe his price a nd just kept on punting him
