    Really sad to see, lovely horse, horrible injury.

    What is this with NH horses breaking legs on the flat? There have been so many this season, I never remember as many. That terrible double death at Sedgefield.

    Seemed to be going well at the time, not even near a fence; horrible to watch, but that’s the reality of racing, we have to bear witness and not look away

    I agree but we also need to scrutinise, question and hold to account when necessary. Accidents happen and, sadly, always will but to just shrug and say “that’s racing’ every time isn’t acceptable.
