    Sweden was a successful young pointer – I saw him win at Flagg last season ridden by pointing’s most successful jockey ever, Richard Burton. Very sorry that he is no more. RIP

    Hi all and hello

    My first post here and not a happy one. Sweden yesterday and three further deaths today at Plumpton and, frankly, an appalling few weeks for equine casualties. With Cheltenham and Aintree just around the corner, let’s hope for accident free events so that the sport’s reputation, already tarnished in some quarters, does not suffer further.

    RIP to today’s fatalities – Two Cloudy, Blazing Empress and Chocolat.

    Sadly Monsieur was another fatality today … rotten news … RIP. His fall was really bad and he got knocked as he got up and he looked in a very bad way. I hope his suffering was brief.

    Terrible to see Monsieur have such a horrible fall ….. standing there head down in such a bad way. I dont think I have seen a racehorse with so many races over such short periods of time quite shocked! RIP
