Can someone put me off Present M’Lord?
I’m drawn and then drawn again….January 2, 2010 at 19:08 #267193OK Crizzy – repeat after me – he’s carrying 11stone7, he’s carrying 11stone7……
Does that help?
January 2, 2010 at 19:29 #267208Only has to keep plodding on through the heavy, when others have cried enough!! I am a bit put off thank you…
January 2, 2010 at 19:33 #267211I know what you mean crizzy – you can make a case for a fair few of these and it’ll be last horse standing as they say! Let’s hope it is on
Will be a grand race it is happens!January 2, 2010 at 20:03 #267225A tentative selection would be Teeming Rain.

January 3, 2010 at 11:22 #267318Hello,
Completely agree Irish. Bradstock’s charges are doing fairly well also, a couple of concerns is that he can throw the towel in early (moody!), and the weight SHAKA’S PEARL has causes a frown.
However, 16/1 is an excellent price.
regards,
doyley
January 3, 2010 at 11:27 #267321I’ve just been looking at Shakas Pearl; runs alot at Towcester, so his leg muscles should be pretty good! It’s quite an interesting little race, but not much value in any of them, so thought I’d use the tried and tested formula of looking at the bottom weights. Notabotheronme is interesting as well.
January 3, 2010 at 12:07 #267331And Tarquinius may well buck the trend of French Breds running stinkers in the race. It is very wide open and I’m shocked to see Master Overseer so skinny. Who is betting on him?
January 3, 2010 at 12:12 #267333Pleased to see it’s on ATR so I can watch it later this afternoon.
January 3, 2010 at 12:22 #267336For what its worth

This looks like one of those races where at the outset it all looks like quite a close affair and in the end you get seven pulled up and the rest strung out like the washing,
Starting with Teeming Rain its quite difficult to consider supporting him(as is the plan I would suspect)if he puts his best foot forward, which he has done at this type of trip a couple of times, then he would have a smart chance. Tarquinus, I can see why people are supporting this I thing they are mis-reading the form aspect, I will be looking for some improvement here towards his next run.
Radesky March may run a very big race if he takes to the trip and conditions. You can make a case for a couple of the others but the only other I can see making a fist of it without winning is Pipo De Re, I will be looking for improvement here also.
My idea of the winner is Master Overseer, I could not put anyone off anything though really
January 3, 2010 at 14:02 #267354Lot of money going on Shakas Pearl by the look of it.
January 3, 2010 at 14:52 #267364What a great race; in fact, from what I’ve seen it’s been a brilliant afternoons racing so far. 3lb made all the difference. [Hope Kawagino’s ok]
January 3, 2010 at 15:35 #267372I’ve just caught with the replay of the race and have to agree with moehat that it was a corker of a race.
Home turn and Master Overseer looked to have the race in his grasp, Shaka’s Pearl starting to pick up ground, going to the last Tarquinius hits the front, Master Overseer battles back, Shaka’s Pearl can’t get enough impetus to go between them, Master Overseer just does Tarquinius on the line. Cracking stuff and it warms up a chilly afternoon watching it.
Teeming Rain ran a good deal better for AP than he has for others but was held when unseating two out.
January 3, 2010 at 15:38 #267373The 1.20 was pretty exciting as well!
January 3, 2010 at 15:41 #267374..and just watched the 2.55. Not a bad finish to that either!
January 3, 2010 at 16:02 #267379Interesting to see what Whatever Next does next if he runs on a right handed track.
