Back and we go with Gary Moore today.

    13:30, Bath
    Gary Moore
    Asense
    Dec Odds: 7.6 (BetFair Exchange)
Asense has shown his best form at Bath, winning here in September of last year, then following up in this race. He hasn’t been in the greatest of form in 2024 but is down in the handicap – 4lb lower than when winning last year. Obvious chance.

    Dylan Cunha for today’s selection.

    17:05, Redcar
    Dylan Cunha
    Expressionless

    Dec Odds: 5.3 (BetFair Exchange)
Expressionless has been in great form and is our best chance on the day. Track, ground and a top jockey in Rossa Ryan are compelling factors. Very hopeful.

Well go with Gary Moore’s advice today

    15:30, Huntingdon
    Gary Moore
    Abingworth
    Dec Odds: 5.9 (BetFair Exchange)
Abingworth improved steadily once sent chasing last season. He was still going well when unseating at a crucial stage on his final start at Plumpton, but otherwise had two wins and three 2nd places to show for his efforts over fences. Should slot nicely into this handicap against more experienced rivals.

Dylan Cunha provides a bit of encouragement for one at Goodwood today

    14:25, Goodwood
    Dylan Cunha
    Just King High

    Dec Odds: 15.5 (BetFair Exchange)
I liked the chance of Just King High before his first race at Beverley and he ran very promisingly in a close 4th. He’s in flying form and it’s a pity he’s drawn 1 on wet ground at Goodwood where there is such a track bias. Still can run a big race.

A strong word today for this one from Jamie Snowden

    12:00, Chepstow
    Jamie Snowden
    Julius Des Pictons

    Dec Odds: 3.25 (BetFair Exchange)
Julius Des Pictons is a French-bred son of Cokorico. He was placed in three bumpers in France before winning one and then ran 2nd in two novice hurdles there. He came to us last winter when we slotted him into our routine and, giving him time to acclimatise. Second on stable and UK debut in November, he then landed the odds easily at Plumpton this month. He drops back in trip and carries a penalty but I think he is very talented and have high hopes he can win again.

Julius Des Pictons did what the trainer thought he would the other day – we’ll weigh in today with a more speculative punt at a bigger price – he sounds hopeful of a good run and she’s an each-way price

    15:40, Uttoxeter
    Jamie Snowden
    A Path To Ronda
    Dec Odds: 15 (BetFair Exchange)
This Getaway filly is a half-sister to five winners including smart Simonsig. Out of a bumper and hurdle winner, she is bred to be talented and again was in pre-training in Ireland all through 2023. She arrived here in the autumn, has done plenty of work and can go well here on racecourse debut.

A lovely winner yesterday at 16/1 brings up two in a row for Jamie Snowden here – we’ll row in with him again today, this time an outsider he’s suggesting an each way possible so we’ll go with that.

    15:50, Cheltenham
    Jamie Snowden
    Latopix
    Dec Odds: 34.9 (BetFair Exchange)
Latopix won an AQPS bumper on debut at Vichy, beating two subsequent winners. She ran too freely and didn’t get home first time oit for us at Doncaster but we know she is a talented filly. I think she can run into a place today.
