As part of our link with Surewin I’ll publish one quote from their ‘Trainer’s Quotes’ daily update – this is a service that provides feedback from a range of trainers on runners they have on any day. They have a sister service called ‘From The Stables’ will publish those separately, run by a different group under the Surewin banner and different set of trainers)

Today’s quote (btw odds given are those available at time mail sent out – this may have changed by the time I publish it on here) –

18:12, Ayr
Ollie Sangster
Bob Mali
“Bob Mali ought to run somewhere in the high 70s on debut. That ought to be good enough to make him very competitive and finish thereabouts.”

A winner to start off with. Only 8/11 but a winner is a winner 🥇

There is only one quote given today so I haven’t picked out the best of the bunch as there isn’t a bunch, if you know what I mean –

16:30, Leicester
Dylan Cunha
Cerulean Summer
Dec Odds: 6.6 (BetFair Exchange)
Cerulean Summer has been getting nearer in recent races on AW. She has run on turf only once and cannot be judged on that as she was badly interfered with at the start of a race at Nottingham and Rhys allowed her to coast home in her own time. There should be much more to come on this 2nd turf start. Hopeful.

Thursday

Dec Odds: 5.4 (BetFair Exchange)
Thursday has slightly lost her way since winning a few starts ago. Back to faster ground on a track she has run well at might suit her and she seems in great shape still. She could easily get back on an upward curve if things go smoothly for her here.

Another nice winner @ 100/30 – following from Sunday’s 3rd at 9/1 and the first day’s winner. Good start.

18:05, Ffos Las
Charlie Fellowes
Minnie Wildes
Dec Odds: 10 (BetFair Exchange)
Minnie Wildes is a nice filly that has been working well. She shouldn’t have any problems with the soft ground and also has tons of speed. She will go well on debut.

Great result there – Minnie Wildes wins at 9/1 after what looked a fairly strong stamp of approval from the trainer regarding her chance.

That’s 3 out of 4 selections have been winners so a great start – plenty other good pluses and minuses among the trainer quotes I’m not publishing.

result to date – 12.057pts profit from 4 pts staked

Another from yesterday’s winning team

16:20, Beverley
Charlie Fellowes
Easy Equation
Dec Odds: 9.2 (BetFair Exchange)
Easy Equation has been incredibly unlucky not to win a race for my yard yet, but he is in great order and can definitely win off his mark. He was drawn wide last time and forced to go forward which he hates but now has a lovely inside draw and things should be much easier for him. He will go well today.

No luck on Thursday and nothing I thought worth posting Friday but back in action today with this selected quote –

15:42, Doncaster
Charlie Fellowes
Falcon Nine
Dec Odds: 9.6 (BetFair Exchange)
Falcon Nine was bitterly unlucky over course and distance recently when he got caught behind a wall of horses. He would have been much closer that day with a clear run and can gain his revenge today.

Falcon Nine didn’t fire yesterday so we are now +10.057pts to a 1pt win level stake. 3/6 winners (50% SR)

Today we look to Ollie Sangster – a trainer who seems on the up.

15:20, Southwell
Ollie Sangster
Monomyth

Dec Odds: 8.2 (BetFair Exchange)
Monomyth won well at Doncaster. He’s up 5lb for that but I feel he had a little to spare that day and is improving. Hopeful.

Came close yesterday with Monomyth who was beaten a neck at 11/2. Now plus 9.057 pts to 1pt win level stake.

Today it is our first quote from Julia Fielden.

18:40, Yarmouth
Julia Feilden
Queen’s Company

Queen’s Company is now on a winning mark. She ran well last time considering the ground went too slow for her when it rained. She seems in good form and won the race last year so hopefully, she has a good each-way chance here.

Aw man, just touched off yesterday at 9/1! Thought we had it in the bag but just didn’t quite hold off the finisher.

Today’s quote is an upbeat message from Gary Moore on one of his Kempton team.

16:15, Kempton Park
Gary Moore
Give It To Me Oj

Dec Odds: 5.9 (BetFair Exchange)
Give It To Me Oj ran a very promising race first time in a handicap when a close 4th off an initial mark of 80 at Goodwood. Dropped 1lb for that, we have to be hopeful that the improvement he showed that day can be maintained. Big chance.<\b>

Third yesterday at 4/1. Bit bigger price today and one over the jumps. Let’s see if Snowden can improve one from Mullins!

17:55, Worcester
Jamie Snowden
Shaving
Dec Odds: 8.2 (BetFair Exchange)
Shaving is a half-sister to the multiple Grade 1 and Cheltenham Festival winner Allaho and a full-sister to another black type winner in Shanning. This Spanish Moon filly had three bumper runs and one novice hurdle outing for Willie Mullins without showing much. She had a wind operation through the summer and I hope she can offer a lot more ability here in what looks a pretty weak affair.

One at a decent price from Gary Moore

15:50, Goodwood
Gary Moore
Miller Spirit
Dec Odds: 12.5 (BetFair Exchange)
Miller Spirit won twice on this track in June and has run well in both his races since. Only 3lb higher than for the wins, he’ll be dangerous from the foot of the handicap and Joe’s 5lb claim couild be decisive.

Strong advice from Dylan Cunha today

15:00, Chepstow
Dylan Cunha
Louie The Legend
Dec Odds: 10 (BetFair Exchange)
Louie The Legend has improved with his racing. He should win this.

One today from Gary Moore

16:10, Chelmsford
Gary Moore
Daphne May
Dec Odds: 5.3 (BetFair Exchange)
When Daphne May signed off last September, she was rated 67. Since returning she has dropped below 50 and can run at Classified level. Her one positive effort among a host of disappointments was a close 3rd the only time she stepped out of handicaps and this could be her day to add to the eight career wins she already has in her locker.
