Cause Of Causes: Could never see a reverse in form, clearly for me not good enough at this level.

Champagne Fever: Two week ago I’d probably fancy him, dont at all now even with Walsh on board, Mullins obviously wanted to avoid the Gigginstown horse and Pont Alexandre and put him in the 3m no where near his natural trip just for easier opposition, massive negative for me.

Cheltenian: Backed him at 90 and 85 so will be biased but that Minellaforfitness defeat for me is nice form for a horse who on appearance pre race needed that run bad, didnt look into his coat yet he should have won that day, and the winner easily beat Aaim To Prosper, should come on massive and still is over priced should be 12’s for this.

Dodging Bullets: Really cant see how a failed Triumph horse can win here, a nice run beating the Henderson horse but Walsh deserting it for an afterthought Mullins horse, cant have him but a place is not beyond him.

Jezki: Sets a nice standard for the Irish, beating Champagne Fever along the way, not sure Champgane Fever was on form that day mind and only 1.5 to make up and I cant see Champagne Fever in the 3, so makes me concerned over him.

My Tent Or Yours: Cant see all the negativity around him, his Newbury win, the horses that needed to come 2nd and 3rd to make form strong did fill 2nd and 3rd and that is rock solid enough, massive danger and I would be surprised if the hill blunts him, McCoy choosing him over Jezki is no surpise.

Pique Sous: Bland form, cant see how he is shorter than Cheltenian.

Puffin Billy: Looked great till defeat where he seemed to be put in his place but for an injury although still think he wouldn’t have won anyway, cant really have him.

River Maigue: Even with a farce pace last race, he couldn’t beat Dodging Bullets either, doesn’t seem good enough.

Un Atout: Hard to assess him since he has beaten trees, but looking at him he looks amazing in the Mullins tour, looks 200x the horse when he was hacking up and he could be a huge star and possible Champion Hurdler to me even though people say he looks a stayer, a slight negative would be his lack of big race experience. If he wasn’t Gigginstown be obvious Ruby would have chose him.

    1. Cheltenian
    2. My Tent or Yours
    3. Un Atout

Does the soft ground not concern anyone about Cheltenian? Or is that factored in the price (25/1)

Yes, lotsa hotpots get tonked in this, but

    MY TENT OR YOURS

(I like that name BTW,) left a deep impression when winning the richest and arguably most competitive handicap hurdle in Europe.

Would any of the other horses running in the Supreme have won so nonchalantly with the same weight? IMHO, no.

The ground is right up his street, having skated through it at Newbury, and I think 2/1 or bigger is a fair price.

The rest just seem more beatable, and I’d put Champagne Fever to stay on for the forecast at a respectable distance.

I was in the dark, but three pints of scrumpy have rolled me into the truth. For the umpteenth time, I have changed my mind on this race and now fancy

    Un Atout

    .

Willie Mullins was thinking of putting Champagne Fever in one of the novice races, with Pont Alexander in the other. There was never ever any talk about Un Atout missing this race. He was always the Mullins number one for the Supreme.

I strongly fancied Champagne Fever, but surely everything points to

    Un Atout

    being even better.

Good to know I’m not the only one suffering for my boasting on here

TBH, I was disappointed with My Tent Or Yours….I did not think stamina was an issue – I’m still not sure?!

He travelled so well, I’d hate to think how short he traded on BF.

Champagne was very brave, but at no point did I think he had the fav covered until the last 50 yards.

My Tent Or Yours looks like a horse with an attitude problem. He either wins on the bridle or doesn’t win.

I went of CF right after Mullins said he wasnt good enough to beat Un Atout and would be avoiding him, made me look like a right idiot. What did he drift to 20’s last week?
