Does Top Othe Ra’s name mean what I think it means? Pretty surprised that one got through.
Yeah always wondered this too- when it won a Down Royal in November, there was a crowd very pleased for obvious reasons!
I’ve just spent 10 minutes trying to work out this name.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!If you look at the pedigree of Top othe Ra’s sire, Whitmore’s Conn, there are names like Prove It, Occupy, Feale Bridge that lend themselves to that naming – not that I twigged it. The forum is always educational!
