You have got to love these people.
I’m adopting a wait and see policy on this one.
Why don’t they ask the question…………"Is Fallon going to be your assistant?"
The you get a yes or a no
SMS hasn’t said no he said I spoke to him last night and told him he could come and ride work.
Sure you did SM but what else was said? I can just see SMS going off to a meeting with Fallon just to tell him that

I am taking it they did meet or how else would the newspapers get a hold of it ?
I may be SMS could be playing his hand very close to his chest to see how things pan out and if and when he is comforatable with Fallon the truth may come out……just guessing of course.
February 6, 2008 at 15:05 #140655Who will emerge as the UK’s no 1 trainer in the next few years now that Stoute has ruined himself?
The Sporting Life article restores my faith in Stoute and he remains sharp.
….on the same thread
Dont read The Sun by any chance?

Which bit do you not understand? When the false news broke that Fallon was Stoutes assistant trainer I stated my honest opinion that I believed it would be a very bad decision and could cost Stoute horses from owners who hate Fallon (and there are plenty of them).
When it became clear that this story was not true and Fallon was going to do some work riding, It restored my faith in Stoute being sharp. If you cant understand that then thats fine.
I do not buy any newspaper, I think the British press is an absolute disgrace reference a certain high profile ‘alleged’ kidnapping case and I will no longer donate my money to any British newspaper.
February 6, 2008 at 15:21 #140662I’m beginning not to understand you.
Anyone who states the rubbish you’ve spouted on this thread based on what you’ve read in the media, then rubbishes the same media in the same post has no credibility here.
Deary,deary me.

I didnt read anything in the media. I read it on this thread and took it as being fact.
Trouble with gambling forums is there are a lot of miserable losers around, people try and make themselves feel better by having a crack at others.Feel free to unleash your aggression on me.

February 6, 2008 at 22:56 #140799A lot of saloon bar mythology about Ciaran, imo.
He spells it "Kieren", btw, but I suppose several here will gleefully claim that it doesn’t matter anyway, as the man can neither read nor write, and they know that must be true because they saw it on the betfair forum – the modern day fount of all knowledge and font of all wisdom.
"Finnish" ( nap) 1.01. Fact. etc.
February 6, 2008 at 23:08 #140801Dont think several of those smart arse laptop legends have made it to saloon bar stage yet Sean Rua.
Nice post btw.
February 7, 2008 at 01:43 #140834In fairness to Chris McGrath of the Indo, who broke this story, the text of his article uses the term "assistant", but not "assistant trainer", and agrees in all essential respects with subsequent information from other sources.
Unfortunately the headline to his article does use the term, but that could have been inserted by a sub-editor and anyway we know not to take headlines too literally. Don’t we?
In any case it seems a logical step for Fallon to take and I’m sure Stoute knows what he’s doing. The only question mark I would have is how will Ryan Moore take it?

Just a few words.
I heard this report on B.B.C. Radio 5 yesterday morning.
It stated that ‘Keiron Fallon was going to be the assistant trainer to Sir Michael Stoute’.
It did not quote any sources and just a quick phone call from someone at the Beeb could have put this story where it should belong….in the bin!Sorry , but you dont know me but I can assure you that I am not a miserable loser that to tries to feel better by having a go at others.
February 7, 2008 at 08:13 #140853Zoso…stop being an idiot.
Seagull I was referring to comments like the above that resort to personal abuse when someone does not agree with your opinion on a matter, when I was describing aggression and gambling forums.
You heard a report and posted it on the forum, it was good post that provoked a fair discussion where people had differing opinions on the subject. This forum would be awful if everyone agreed with each others opinions on racing but there is rarely the need to call someone an idiot or personally abuse them. Either way none of it was aimed at you.February 7, 2008 at 09:43 #140870A lot of saloon bar mythology about Ciaran, imo.

Very good Shaun
February 7, 2008 at 12:43 #140918Not that good, Drawn.
The guy seems to get a kicking even when there’s no evidence to prove the urban myth(s) that abound.
For the little it’s worth, I followed the man right back from the time just before he joined Cecil. OK, I probably am one the " miserable losers", but the few bob I made from racing came mostly from the Stoute/Fallon years, so I’m hardly likely to turn my coat now.

Sorry to say this, but I wouldn’t take any notice of Five Live- they’re hardly a big fan of Racing, only when it suits them. If it’s not Football, then take no real notice- ‘the home of live sport’ Yeah – right!! Look at the sports they completely ignore.

Nothing to say sorry about Andy, you are spot on.
