    On North-West news tonight: Steven Wilson, 51 former jockey victim of hit and run last Saturday early evening near The Wheatsheaf pub, Saughall, Chester. Steven began training as a jump jockey in 1972 and was trained by David Gandolfo in Wantage, Oxfordshire.

    He then went onto take part in numerous races and won Fontwell in 1978.

    He lived with his elderly mother. Such a shame. How can someone do this and not even stop???
