Well spotted MOM, I thought I was doing well with 33s a few weeks back, but when I saw the 50/1
there was no way I could turn it down. I also took the 25/1 w/o Paisley Park which seemed mad
when he was generally 25s elsewhere anyway. I reckon Betfair are licking their wounds after
that offer. He’s 12/1 with them now. He’s going to shrink some more when they eventually take
Benie Des Dioux, who’s 2nd fav, out of the race. she will head to the mares Hurdle. I think the
bet w/o Paisly Park is one of the best I’ve seen pre Cheltenham. He was hardly asked a question
today, I think we have a real shout hereFebruary 16, 2020 at 01:16 #1483050The difference in his jumping from his first run this season and so e of his runs last year was marked
If he had jumped like that at aintree last year I firmly believe he wouldve beat champ
February 16, 2020 at 02:20 #1483051The race in the Relkeel was just too bad to be true FF, something was amiss with him I
think. Whatever it was they either sorted it or it sorted itself, his mind certainly
wasn’t on his racing that day. He cruised round today and other than a minor mistake
at the last he jumped and travelled well.March 3, 2020 at 01:00 #1484465With Champ going RSA as expected, I’m still left with Tobefair here.
Maybe pushing my luck a bit, but added him 66’s EW.
His run in The Cleeve wasn’t that bad, motoring at the end, and if there were any scares in the lead up, from those at the head of the market, or any trouble in running, then I could see him sneak a place.
I’ll probably get the opportunity on the day to get Four Places, and I’ll go in again, but for now, standard EW will do.
Tobefair 66’s EW NRNB
Tobefair 200’sMarch 12, 2020 at 11:08 #1485664Love Paisley Park who isn’t a bad price @ 8/11. I’ve had a saver.
But am a little worried they’ll go slow.
Summerville Boy tried it last time and got close to the favourite. Possibly flattered but may be flattered again here and if the fav gets amongst horses… Got 10/1.
The only other possible front runner that I can see is the forgotten horse/mare, Apples Jade. Richard Johnson an eye catching booking and only reason I can see of that is she’s going to the front. Apple has fallen but at her best (and with the mares allowance) is right up with Paisley Park’s form. Probably ruin her chance jumping right, but @ 22/1 is well worth a bet.
Paisley Park can isle in front, so – if they do go a pace – Emitom could well be the one. Taken 13/1.
Can’t really see any of the others being good enough.EDIT:
Now 14/1 Apples Jade!Value Is EverythingMarch 12, 2020 at 15:19 #1485756More outsiders for ew buttons.
Bacardys usually runs a good race
West Approach likes it here
Donna’s Diamond is 300-1, got to stick to my strategyMarch 12, 2020 at 15:25 #1485757Penhill looks very well in the paddock so I added him win only.
March 12, 2020 at 15:26 #1485758City Island 12-1 ew antepost. Trainer said the drier the ground the better and it isn’t really. Favourite will be hard to beat.
March 12, 2020 at 15:26 #1485759Another one to enjoy, but Donna’s Diamond 200/1 four places and Ronald Pump each way to chase Paisley Park home.
March 12, 2020 at 15:27 #1485760Surely the apples jade money is for Elliot’s form , I backed on Johnston being on , I hope summerville boy can give Paisley a race and I think city island can run a big race to
March 12, 2020 at 15:29 #1485762Emitom and city island the only two I can see possibly beating paisley park if he runs his race
March 12, 2020 at 15:39 #1485763Had him in Bobby’s Pricewise comp- didn’t have a bean on him today. Hey ho
March 12, 2020 at 15:39 #1485764As Simon and Garfunkel sang …..the sound of silence
March 12, 2020 at 15:40 #1485765Absolutely chuffed for Adam Wedge. He’s a great rider who deserves a big race like this. Big thumbs up for him and for anyone who had the winner!
March 12, 2020 at 15:40 #1485766Silence everywhere bar the bookies jumping up and down as another shorty gets beat
March 12, 2020 at 15:41 #1485767I guess that is what you call a placepot buster!
Pleased for Rebecca Curtis but disappointed for Emma Lavelle. Hope Paisley Park is OK and Penhill too.
March 12, 2020 at 15:45 #1485768Jesus h , could be a 50k plus placepot
