Wouldn’t give him a hope in hell myself

Just looks to have plateaud and his novice form doesn’t look much good in hindsight

Also wouldn’t have him as a strong enough stayer for a test like this

But it’s a game of opinions

He’s a 3 mile point winner FF so no issues there , Mullins has worked the Oracle here before with horses in the stayers

A point to point doesn’t mean much re stamina imo

They are very young horses and must jog round for them to get home

The stayers hurdle a completely different kettle of fish

Just think he’s stopped improving and isn’t at the level required to win this. Feels like yesterday’s horse to me.

“Wouldn’t give him a hope in hell myself.”

It’s an open division. Not too many miles on the clock for an 8 year old. Was a bit of a beast as a juvenile/novice when fences didn’t get in the way. Worth a go.

Where do they go with GERHARD ? That was a heavy fall today and I certainly can’t bet him going forward, too risky as confidence surely knocked out of him now

Apparently they may try Sir Gerhard again over fences so will leave him be for this for now.

    She’s a good mare

Very competitive in mares grade 1s at her best

Open grade 1s maybe just beyond her unless well placed and ideal track and trip

Elliott has just suggested that Teahupoo may well go straight to the Stayers’ Hurdle, as he’s best fresh.

Will try Sir Gerhard 20-1 again. Waiting confirmation of a Xmas hurdle run where he is challenging for favouritism.

    Extremely good from Irish point

Robcour have the two best staying hurdlers in britain and Ireland by some distance it seems
