    RIP Stack the Deck :(
    The only race I thought I could watch as it was on the flat and now this..poor boy, we rarely get through a Cheltenham or Aintree meeting without fatalities now but know it’s not just the high profile meetings.

    When you see beautiful horses like Sire de Grugy and Holywell, for example, and how much their lass/lad loves them, Faugheen for example the lad quoted…

    he’s the only reason I get up and go to work in the morning


    it makes you sad to think of the despair and grief that the loss of a racehorse brings to connections.

    Please let the Gold Cup Day go without incident and all horses and jockeys be safe.

    Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...

    Not much consolation but he was put down at the stables after the race when the extent of his injury became apparent.
