Stuck with Hurricane Lane 9-4, and the free bet on Sir Lucan 14-1 in case things go wrong. Which I am not expecting it to.
September 11, 2021 at 15:19 #1560104Lmao well one lass at donny is ” f#cking ready ” for this
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
September 11, 2021 at 15:26 #1560109I honestly thought hurricane would go shorter. He,s a fair price as on all form he wins

I’m sure the connections will be staking the supplement fee on this too.September 11, 2021 at 15:40 #1560114Get in!
September 11, 2021 at 15:40 #1560115Wd winners.
September 11, 2021 at 15:42 #1560116Was never in doubt , got a nice e.w , the Derby form is looking more and more solid , Adayar is still my arc pick
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
September 11, 2021 at 15:48 #1560119He’s very classy and that looked very easy. Ironically the only time I backed him this season was for the Derby when he didn’t seem to handle the track. Aidan O’Brien’s had a nightmare this year with his classic generation colts bar SMB.
September 11, 2021 at 15:50 #1560121Great performance, but he looked very tired walking into the winners enclosure and Appleby took it upon himself to very quickly give him the bucket of water to drink from – have a feeling this took more out of him than the performance would suggest…….as I said previously not an ideal prep for an Arc.
Still think the Champion Stakes at Ascot on like very easy ground is a very viable alternative especially given that it will gove the horse longer to recover.
Had he not lost his two front shoes at Epsom, he might still have been unbeaten.
September 11, 2021 at 15:52 #1560122Wonder if they will send him to the breeders cup
Doubt he wants 1m2f unless its almost unraceable
September 11, 2021 at 15:57 #1560124LD I don’t think that made the difference , Adayar won the the Derby in about 3 or 4 strides as soon as Kirby said go
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
September 11, 2021 at 16:02 #1560125Ground likely too quick for him in US plus a tight turning track unlikely to suit his style – Ascot I think is an option as he has improved through the season and the race has been run on soft ground for the last 4 years
September 11, 2021 at 16:03 #1560126Losing shoes can make a difference though. If Adayar had lost shoes would he have quickened like he did? I doubt it. I disregarded HL’s run as ‘not at his best’ that day.
September 11, 2021 at 16:11 #1560130Pretty certain HL had already lost his shoes before they started coming down the hill – to think that it made no difference to him on one of the most notoriously difficult tracks a horse can ever race on is rather wishful thinking.
That being said I do think Adayar has developed physically into the better horse (with more still to come) and believe he would have a much better chance of winning the Arc over HL who on his 6th start of the season has had a particularly tough race today.
September 11, 2021 at 16:14 #1560131Very good for the Derby.
Well done the each way backers.
So High Definition why did they supplement him?September 11, 2021 at 16:23 #1560135I guess the ‘Boys’ felt like giving some money away – the more they run him the worse his performances get.
Last throws of the dice would either be to try turning him into a cup horse or go jumping with him, assuming they keep hold of him for next season that is.
September 11, 2021 at 17:36 #1560150High Definition ….where do they go now?
Hyped as something special but a must be a BIG disappointment.
Suspect they will keep him in training next year in the hope of salvaging something as they have done with others.
