UnplacedOctober 10, 2020 at 20:00 #1505666Hello Kendicate,
One of those days.
Not a lot gone right when it ought to have. Back on the horse before long. Didn’t do things in the usual way.
Was it ok for you.
It was though an excellent days racing.October 10, 2020 at 20:27 #1505668Crystal Carole 8,30
Final selection on a poor day.
Just one place in the bumper.
This horse won back at Kempton and has been going well for Jim Best.
Stepping up in trip

UNPLACEDOctober 11, 2020 at 08:15 #1505694Similar here, had a few winners but not big bets or prices. Takarengo was a nice e/w in the ceasarawich. My strongest fancies and bigger bets came to nothing.
Was good racing indeed, a little disappointing in the amount of non runners at Chepstow, spoilt one of my favourite cards of the year really. It’s rare for Chepstow not to have softer going
October 11, 2020 at 08:17 #1505695Court maid in Ireland was a particularly impressive run, worth a review the way it quickened up and put the race to bed. No world beaters in behind but ok horses none the less
October 11, 2020 at 09:01 #1505701Poetic flare each way dehurst Newmarket
UNPLACEDInteresting for next year perhaps?
Court maid in Ireland was a particularly impressive run, worth a review the way it quickened up and put the race to bed.
Yes she fairly put the afterburners on. Think Rapid Response will do better with more time, distance and cut underfoot. She’s a fair sized mare. Somptueux didn’t jump as well as I expected but the little grey mare who led them round pinged over the fences, she was nice to watch.
October 11, 2020 at 16:11 #1505743Damalisque may defy a big lay off to get aplace here. Watching brief obviously Am national curragh
October 11, 2020 at 16:26 #1505747Sam, one you might like for the future and even today at a massive price. Old Times in the NA bumper… check the point form out very strong and lots of winners

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!October 11, 2020 at 16:30 #1505748Hello Jack
Thanks was just looking over that race. It’s the amateur Derby to be precise and as briefly mentioned at the off,
DAMALISQUE was a truly interesting runner and defied the odds to run a good second here.2nd 16/1October 11, 2020 at 16:38 #1505752Overheer and Hisnameis Mrdevitt
Should go well in the 4.40Curragh
Win overheer

Hisnameis Mrdevitt

Newton abbott
This looks pretty straight forward for
Stormy Ireland
Lots of good form with a line through Elfie
beating Black tears and Elfie and meeting Honeysuckle Elfie then taking the same route and getting closer to Honeysuckle.
If fit from the transfer ought to win here.
Robbie Power settling into uk racing the danger.October 11, 2020 at 17:16 #1505758Newton abbott 5,20 flat race
Old Times as Jack says is an interesting runner who could pop up at a price here.
He missed his intended stable debut on too testing ground at Fontwell, which was a good thing as I put up both the 2nd and third in that race.

Up against Paul nichols of course so only playing for places again. But all three interesting in a market that is against them all.October 11, 2020 at 17:30 #1505759And so on to another day!!

Finally lands me a race this weekend in the lucky last at massive odds of 14/1
A very good ride from top Jockey
Briony Frost.
Which goes to show the big boys don’t win everything do they?
I will count up the winners but that is about 14 or 15 for October.
More importantly the bumpers are proving to be a constant source of winners and placed horses.October 12, 2020 at 08:38 #1505775Maiden hurdle 2.45 big price this morning. 14s 12s
NEGRONI Maximum each way ( first of its kind I’ve put up here)
Beaten favourite two of her three runs.
However in her National hunt race she stormed through to assert and take second in a manor that suggested she was learning quick. Similar run would see Negroni held up and assert after the last. She is a big price as there so many good prospects here but hopefully racetrack experience will tell. Brave way a real danger for HDB.Willie Mullins says
“Negroni (Paul) makes her hurdling debut in the 2m 3f mares’ maiden hurdle. She has a real jumping/staying pedigree so this trip should really suit. She is not very big but jumps well enough and could be each-way value here.”
Veterans race Kilbeggan
Kilganor Queen
Definite Soldier
Bellgrove all each way
Lots of questions over the distance about all of these and some great form to mull over. In the end I’ve gone for these three each way from the bottom of the weights hoping they can turn back the clock lowly ratings an issue too.
But it is anyone’s raceKilbeggan NHF RACE
“Dads Lad (Patrick) goes for the bumper. He was second at Galway on his first run for us and hopefully he will go one better here. He will handle the ground and should be hard to beat”
I’m always seeking to get the favourite beat, but there is little scope here. DAD’S LAD WIN caught a flyer in the fog when Razzle Dazzle Love ran away with the race lto but he kept the margin to under 4 lengths wearing down a lead of well over a distance. As usual the Elliott horse is the danger.October 12, 2020 at 13:30 #15058072.15 Kilbeggan

Keeps finding one two good. Four times now, but they have all been good ones Aurthurian Flame, whirling Dervish.
Faces another stiff task again but could go one better.
Main danger rates as
Broomfields Jeremy.
After a string of great rides including a second to Malone road a breakthrough win over course and distance last time out.Watching brief
October 12, 2020 at 14:23 #1505813Enjoyable race went as expected. Both camps will be happy with that.
A good watching brief winner
there. Santana Plessis 11/4 Fav
