Jesina 5th
Each way
First time out horses dont often excel in these schooling affairs but they are for decent prizes these days and yards are capable of getting the odd one ready.
Jessica Harrington has had a hard time in competitive races at the top table recently often just missing out.
Maybe Jesina well related to good winnees can do well on debut.September 8, 2020 at 16:10 #1500363Amjaady is left clear at top of the weights
Zabeel star is nearby and has a chance
Newcastle 4.10
Amjaady 4TH @11/2September 8, 2020 at 16:31 #15003664.35 Galway
Dance Jupiter runs off top weight here off a mark of 89.
Moved to Joseph O Brien some very strong form lines around this horse but fitbess has to be assumed.
He hasnt run for 340 or so days had he done doubtless his Mark would be much higher now.
fitness told as Dance Jupiter didnt quite last out and finished 2nd to favourite Teed Upfilthy conditions and he will strip fitter for the run.
Maiden winner

Lots of horses with big chances here
Small win bets those threeSeptember 8, 2020 at 16:50 #1500369Sams choice! 1650

So if transferring form from the all weather has a chance here.

UNPLACEDSeptember 8, 2020 at 17:00 #1500371Sams choice 2nd@ 17/2Punchestown one of two Elliot horses to outstay the Willie Mullins good thing.
So I’m delighted with that bit of race calling!September 8, 2020 at 17:10 #1500372Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Listed) 1835 Galway
Princess Zoe is the best horse here tonight but the conditions are not ideal and other rargets are on the horizon. So maybe top weight and bottom weights can get into this at Galway
Having said that, three of her wins have been on soft. The other good to yielding.
A forecast bet with
Barrington court
Princess Zoe
Mighty Blue
Rather than win or each way selections might be the way forward tonight.
Combination forcastPrincess Zoe 1st
Barrington court 2nd
No need for a cover bet and the Galway Girl covered the field easily.
The forecast bet landed. Dividend was
£22.32
September 8, 2020 at 18:32 #1500381Ardilaun Hotel Oyster Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Listed) late late call
Mother Vincent e/w
Elizabeth of aragon e/w
Holy Roman Empress win
No need for a cover bet as
Zoe and Barrington court did the job wellSeptember 8, 2020 at 19:14 #15003857.35 Galway
This next selection is an absolute no brainer.
Provided this horse acts on the going….
BOLERO each way
Under better conditions this would be a MAXIMUM bet.
However BOLERO finished third behind Barrington court and Dewcup in a maiden not so long ago, both horses have shown their hand today at Galway. As good a form line as you could ask for.
As it happened this was too sharp a contest for Bolero and she finished in seventh @100/1 well worth a dabble and a less competitive heat may see Bolero in a better lightSeptember 8, 2020 at 20:07 #1500392Holloa
2020 Newcastle
Course and distance winner who has lost his way since the 2 year old days.
Badly lost all sign of ability as a three year old, beating only one rival in three last runs.
Only hope now is a drop to a mark below that win and cheekpieces and a return to the distance.
David Allan takes the reins for the first time in over a year and one can only hope Holloa has ridden out on the gallops with Mr Carpenter this week!!
More help from the handicapper may be needed.
This isnt Galway it is Newcastle races on a Tuesday night!! The other course and distance winner Pearl of Qatar won off 57 back in October and returns off a good mark in better form, had been on a similarly high 60s mark and is entitled on form to do better than Holloa dropped below his winning mark.
Verdict
Each way bet Holloa
Saver win bet Pearl of Qatar.
