This horse was held up losing twenty lengths before being hard ridden to lose by a nose at Newmarket. A race he really couldn’t lose.
Will have gone up for that run.
So winning today would be an indictment of poor riding previously…..
No indictment the jockey subsequently received a 9 day ban for whip abuse at Newmarket last time.
The horse had a great chance to win at Newmarket and that chance has gone until the Handicapper relents which will be soon.
