February 24, 2017 at 19:29 #1288692FFS Where’s the football tables, home/away latest form etc. That just ballox

Am I missing some thing here? Where’s the horse trainer profile search?
February 24, 2017 at 21:50 #1288736Andrew_03. Nice link, thanks. If anyone is having trouble with the new racing post then use bloodstock.racingpost.com
I think it was Triptych that recommended that on the RP topic.
I pretend that these new versions cease to exist. Can’t stand them. Although I do like the racing post notifications on a horse profile e.g. Moved yard, gelded etc..
February 24, 2017 at 22:36 #1288746I miss the horse racing “profiles” tab already.

Many thanks for your feedback following the relaunch of sportinglife.com.
We have made note of all the comments made and appreciate a number of features from the previous site are not currently on the new version.
However, we are working on adding a number of features as soon as possible – including horse racing profile search, football league tables and various data-driven sections across a multitude of sports.
Other features have moved or been reformatted and we are confident that in time these will become as familiar to our users as the previous versions had been.
We have no plans to change our policy of offering a free-to-use website with a wide range of content and are working hard to deliver the very best product to our readers.
In the meantime, please keep checking out the website together with our social channels as we will communicate as and when new features are live.
Thanks again for contacting us and using sportinglife.com.
What’s new?Our fast results are now faster – you will be the first to know results from around the UK and Ireland
Our live football vidiprinter is also enhanced, with scores filtering through within seconds of the ball hitting the back of the net
Video form is now available on your mobile device and, as ever, is completely free to view – just click on a race and the accompanying video will be available below the racecard
We also have the every horse’s latest run available via racecards, meaning you can study video form for every runner
Horse-by-horse comments for every race in the UK and Ireland
We’ve enhanced My Stable to make it a reliable, effective way of tracking horses and jockeys to make sure you don’t miss a winner
Through our iPhone notification services, you can now receive an alert straight to your phone when a team scores or a race finishes
What’s to come?We are aware that a number of features are not currently available and are working hard to bring them across to our new platform.
Future additions include:
Racing profile search
Racing statistics including an ABC guide and non-runners
Football tables and enhancements to live centres
Betting Zone – our free and transparent betting hub
Live data for a collection of other sports
What else might I need to know?To find archived racing results dating back 10 years, click here and adjust the date in the URL
Videos are available at the foot of every result and can be viewed on mobile and desktop devices – however we are currently experiencing problems with At The Races replays on desktop which we hope to resolve shortly
Live shows are available within individual racecards – just toggle between the two tabs
Click here for all of our current betting tips in one place, while you can also view our transparent record
Lydia Hislop’s Road to Cheltenham archive has been brought over and is available here
Ben Linfoot’s Value Bet record can be found here
February 25, 2017 at 19:02 #1288936No mention at all of the link to the Oddschecker site which is what I suspect most people would use it for???????

I’m not one for panicking but when both ‘Racing Post’ and ‘Sporting Life’ turn whats the most informative 2 sources of info into a complete farce just before Cheltenham I too smell conspiracy…’Profile Search’ is my number 1 tool and I cant seem to find it on ‘Sporting Life’….Deep breaths…In through the nose….
February 26, 2017 at 12:55 #1289003Panics over….Set up a ‘stable’ on ‘Sporting life and play videos through my Skybet account…Not ideal but better than no video form. The thought of losing at Cheltenham would be a first for me.

Wouldn’t be for me!
I've stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I've walked and I crawled on six crooked highwaysFebruary 26, 2017 at 18:02 #1289054I think if you click on the results you can get video replays, although this only applies to recent results.
February 26, 2017 at 20:42 #1289086Used the old Sporting Life website because you could rewatch old races. Now there’s nothing.

Well when I say nothing there is some message :
“Cannot Play Video
We’re sorry, but we can’t play this video for you.
We are currently unable to play At The Races videos on desktop. We are working on bringing At The Races videos to desktop as soon as possible.”
I thought it could work on a different browser, I normally use Google Chrome so tried IE (Internet Explorer success
Or so I thought.Watched Saturday’s Bobbyjo and Eider Race, both races the picture was out of sync with the sound.
They finished their races on screen, but according to the sound they were half way through

I’ve seen better duped Japanese films .

Honestly hope Sporting Life works out these teething problems.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.February 26, 2017 at 23:28 #1289112Absolute shambles the new site…missing so many things that were so simple…tough to understand such a major change just weeks before Cheltenham?
Notice oddschecker changed a bit a few weeks ago too which is now much worse on mobile for me…
Sporting Life’s loss will be ATR’s gain though…never quite realised how good that site was for cards, form etc…think I’ll swap to that now…
February 27, 2017 at 13:48 #1289147Same here. Some people will always moan about any change and im certainly not one of those but i find the racecards to be very badly laid out. The old format was superb
Ive tried the ATR site now and it looks like a winner
