Two immediately stand out here, Almazhar Garde, and Cyclop
Almazhar strikes me as the perfect type to bet to lay in running, but already best priced 9-2, this approach doesn’t appeal that much right now.
Cyclop is also shorter than I had hoped for, best priced 8’s, but he’s the one who’s probably my main hope for now
Cyclop
November 8, 2022 at 20:01 #1622299Not sure who to have in this maybe iseeyouwell
Notice Al Roc entered to run again

November 9, 2022 at 19:30 #1622401Think I’ll join you Bob with Cyclop, but I’ll not have an ante-post bet. Southfield Harvest may be one for me as well, but he’s likely to be quite a short price
November 11, 2022 at 19:53 #1622585Expected Cyclop to fall well short on his return over hurdles at Kelso, but he stuck on to finish a very decent second to a progressive sort. That may well prove a nice tune up for Sunday.
Can’t be having Len Brennan who needs a kick up the arse on recent form…
November 12, 2022 at 12:17 #1622725Southfield Harvest

November 12, 2022 at 19:24 #1622841Sticking with Cyclop in the end, and fairly happy with the odds
Cyclop 9’s
November 13, 2022 at 11:36 #1622935Surprised no one has put up Full back , he,s top weight for a reason , if he brings his Cheltenham New year form here then he,’ll take all the beating , Southfield is the potential improver , won a decent race easily and if Nicholls has him wound up it could be a good race
Full back
Southfield Harvest
November 13, 2022 at 12:30 #1622940Yeah full back for me.
He’s far and away the form choice and as much as Southfield harvest could be progressive I’d always go with proven over potential in a race of this type.
November 13, 2022 at 12:32 #1622941Premiumaccess wouldn’t be sure to win if he started now, but I think track, trip and ground will suit.

November 13, 2022 at 14:17 #1622994Nice to see those colours winning again , Harvest spent the race trying to knock the fences down ….
