This is a system that my dad used to use I never followed it so no idea how it will work out, but just for fun I will post the selections.
Rules are very simple back C&D winner when it’s the only one in the race.
12/1 + will be each way.

Blade I admire the optimism but maybe try adding a little twist to the criteria. There are certain roads you can go down with a subset of one factor.

Must have minimum 25% strike rate CD
In Handicaps must be rated same or lower than for last CD win

A bit of a change to the system, I am going to ignore the rating, and go with the following rules:-
Must be sole C&D Winner
Must have at least 4 runs at course
Must have minimum 25% strike rate at course
Must have won on same going / surfaceC5:50 Celtic Artisan -1
K2:25 Knockara Beau -1
L3:55 Watersmeet +2
L5:00 Black Dave -1-1 for today
I am trying to catch up on all things good, having been away to a sunnier place looking after a rather unwell wife and am pleased to say the warmer weather etc. looks to have worked its magic.
I do like what you are trying to achieve with this idea Bladeblaster and am sure it has some sound merit and am sure you will unlock what your Dad must have known.
Course and Distance winners prove two things: –
a) the animal is a winner and not all are.
b) it has the ability to cope with any vagaries the course may have.
Both a) and b) will give the horse an edge over its rivals, should it be the only CD in the race.
I hope you continue with this and will be watching with my fingers crossed.
