    Entries……………

Decent entry as usual for this.

Monbeg Genius is very well quoted this year, and not surprising that he heads the market, while I expect Flash Collonges to have a decent season.

There’s another trio that interest me a lot more, namely………

    Beauport
    Latitude
    Larry

Beauport ultimately disappointed me last year, but he started out well, and he’s not one to give up on, while Larry looks tailor made for this. Latitude probably the most intriguing one, and be interesting to see if he can build on that run at Kempton in the spring

No bet just now, but likely to be two from that three, and ideally Beauport will go to Carlisle

I think everyone on TRF wants to know who will replace Regal Encore as your regular selection in 3m handicap chases at Ascot, VTC. 😂

lol G, I’m lost without him

I actually had stablemate Sam Brown earmarked for these races, but he’s maybe not recovered from his crunching fall at Punchestown

    Final Decs

Splitting stakes with Beauport around 5’s, and Larry, around 11’s, but a modest betting race for me in the end

    Beauport
    Larry

I like Beauport, has run well first time out the last two seasons.

But my eye is taken by Victtorino at an e/w price with four places. Just the type for the trainer to do well with, although a 5 year old, but has a light weight. Plenty of good form in France on soft/heavy, goes into the could be anything box.
    Beauport to win
    Victtorino E/W.

    Edit:
Just seen Beauport declared for Carlisle Sunday..

Victtorino is a very interesting one indeed. It’s presence really puts me off having a strong view in the race.

Two For Gold is my selection in this. He is around 10-1 at this time, so I’m going to wait until tomorrow

Zhiguli for me. I think it will be a mudfest and he has shown good form in the mud at Lingfield. He is on a low weight and a big price.

    Zhiguli 16/1 EW

    Larry for a repeat win.

The more I know the less I understand.

Eldorado Allen for me- he goes well fresh, copes with soft, is 8lb lower than he was this time last year and the good claimer takes another chunk off. Only downside is that he’s better left handed.

Well done Landafar and you too if you backed him QF.
My lad too keen for the first mile and a half- I felt like whispering in his ear “You’re trained by the Tizzards, fella- calm down and save something for yourself!” Oh well, running 3 miles every other Saturday for the next few months should cool his boots a bit.

    Hope the fallers OK.

    Cheers, Kriss and Greengrass.
I Cannot believe the starting price. I could say Im gutted with 14’s but any winner is welcome, no need to be greedy.
