Unhappy with my 52.
January 28, 2009 at 05:07 #20685764…I’m quite proud of that! Kicked myself when I realised the obvious ones I had missed though…

Top of the class; I got 62.
January 28, 2009 at 17:10 #20688962 also. I was a little surprised that with words like will, would, could, what, which when etc there was no room for please.

My thoughts exactly.
I was also surprised that ‘No’ was in there but ‘Yes’ wasn’t. Obviously written by a married woman

My score btw, a rather unsatisfactory 54.

January 28, 2009 at 22:35 #206926Rather embarrassingly I had another go… and another… and only managed a top score of 58
Some other jolly trivial pursuits on the site, particularly the geographical ones which are more my forte. States of America – simple; it’s conjunctions, adverbs and pronouns I can’t remember

January 29, 2009 at 05:04 #206976my score just reinforces my belief that I exist purely for the purpose of making everyone else in the world feel better about themselves…I am functioning within the parameters of my mediocrity…..sigh
January 29, 2009 at 06:10 #206984I was slightly proud to announce my
diminutive score, however
after several drinks tonight
and possibly a more stressful evening
than the evening when I took the teat
I probably would have preferred a teat
– a test rather
( I would have told you anyway )
I am not ashamed to ADMIT
I cheated

Having done fairly well on the top words list I have to admit to having become hopelessly addicted to the other ‘quizzes’ on offer – the countries one is particularly troublesome.
January 29, 2009 at 16:41 #207017Yeah the site is addictive – the Simpsons quiz is good
I noticed they don’t have Rand McNally in the countries list!

There seems to be a pattern here.
January 29, 2009 at 21:32 #20704362 for me.
January 31, 2009 at 03:29 #207280Has anyone tried the game seven dirty words on the site yet? you get one minute, i only managed 3/7

My hubby and I made the mistake years ago of buying a Rand McNally World Atlas. World Atlas my a*se! There were about 100 pages, 90 of which covered the good ol’ US of A, the other 10 being reserved for all the unimportant countries
