    He was just verging on "past-it" when I started following racing in the early 90’s, but ever since his retirement, he has conducted himself with class every time I have seen him.

    He comes across as a true gentleman, in a world inhabited by vagabonds and scoundrels.

    I always found his commentaries immensely dull, but clearly I am in a minority :oops:
