    Yet another ex ballydoyle horse broke down while being readied for the Cox plate. That’s the 4th of the top of my head in the last few years. Such a lovely looking horse too.

    I take it it was a leg problem? Sir Dragonet had a poor racing action, one more at home on softer ground. Racing and training him in a hot country like Australia was always taking a significant risk.

    I think it prob was Gingertipster, I read he suffered a catastrophic injury during a gallop on course at the 800m mark
