    There is to be the first ever Shire Horse race at Lingfield on 15th June.
    The race will be over 2f and will have professional jockeys.
    Can’t wait to see that, as I like watching Shire dressage! :)

    Crikey, are they mad! Have you ever tried to stop a Shire when they take off? Saw it happen once at Windsor polo ground when one of the beer drays took off when the Shire pair got spooked.

    Wow! Will try not to miss that! Can you imagine the noise of a bunch of Shires at full gallop :shock: The stands could collapse!

    Just Shires or any heavy horses? Those Suffolks can be quite quick, and Clydesdales tend to have longer legs :lol:

    It’s just shires (although one of the runners may have a little dollop of clyde in him!) two stallions and six geldings. It’s going to be EPIC! :D
