Just home after a great day at Newmarket, I followed all Gerald Mosse horses in an each way acca and with one non runner got up a place treble that paid out £130 for my £2 .. was well pleased. Also backed all his horses and First Flight who came 2nd in the last race at 33/1 (took 40/1) was an ex-Godolphin horse who hadn’t run for 2 years, I remember him being quite useful in his day.
The first 4 races went to Godolphin they were unstoppable all the horses looked in tip top condition. I don’t think Newmarket was shown on ITV today and they missed some great racing and potential Classic contenders.
You’ll be pleased to hear that Top Notch Tonto won best turned out in the last, he’s not the force of old but we just love seeing him. Fantastic day’s racing even though all my compy horses went down the pan

Didn’t watch the racing as I was working but I thought the 2.30 & 3.40 Pat’s Saturday Handicap was shown on ITV4. Didn’t have a bet either, except for the ITV7 and sportinglife’s super 7 which was free to enter.
Talking of comps. Daily Telegraph has a free to enter Comp for Royal Ascot beginning June 20th if anyone’s interested.
