Your Own Story23 confirmed runners now left in race

April 21, 2023 at 04:39 #1644756Still no rain here , it’ll be good ground on a lot of the course , I’ve played a few Nicholls horses on Fri , Henderson going into the meeting in form to ,expecting a big run from Dusart
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 21, 2023 at 20:02 #1644835Elvis Mail hacked up last time in his first attempt at 26f, and I’m backing him EW at 18/1 to 6 places. For some reason Paddy Power offer almost twice the price everyone else does in going 28/1 about Sandy’s horse Flower Of Scotland and I’ve backed him too EW to 6 places.
Good luck all
Joe
April 21, 2023 at 20:13 #1644837I was expecting Kitty’s Light to be around the 3/1 mark so I’ll have a piece of 5/1 7 places. How many times do you see the runner up of a race one year go on to win in the next? The answer is some….times.
Thrown in Magna Sam @ 14’s as he may improve on his last time out Edinburgh national win after transferring to Mr. Ralph’s yard.
April 21, 2023 at 20:37 #1644838Chivers1987 I also have just added Magna Sam

April 21, 2023 at 21:44 #1644852I’ve finally taken Dusart at 25-1 to go with my earlier bet on Your Own Story at 12-1
April 22, 2023 at 09:38 #1644902Dusart for me here. I think his step up in trip will really suit him. Ground should be fine as well and he won here last at this meeting. Too big a price for me.
Dusart 25/1 EW
April 22, 2023 at 09:54 #1644905Keeping the faith with Malina Girl- drifting and ran a career best only 21 days ago, so you’d have to be slightly concerned for this marathon trip. However, she’s still unexposed in my book, good ground will help and she won really well last time. Trusting Cromwell’s judgement on her well-being. Sean Flanagan will be riding this with a point to prove after Vanillier.
The other, and the main one is Famous Bridge. Trainer good in this type of race, he’s unexposed and clearly by the trainer’s remarks, he’s very well in.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!April 22, 2023 at 10:03 #1644908Added Lord Accord on a bet boost, in addition to
Flash Collonges
Cap Du NordBest of luck to all
April 22, 2023 at 13:25 #1644947Magna Sam wont be wanting for stamina having won the Edinburgh National last time
out, the only worry is the possibility he could bounce after a year off before
Musselburgh. As long as he doesn’t he looks decent value.Magna Sam 20/1 6 places Bet365
April 22, 2023 at 14:23 #1644959Jonjo has just said in ITV interview, before the Scottish Champ Hurdle, that Monbeg is doubtful for the National.
Ground has got firm in places – he said MG is only 50/50 to run later.
April 22, 2023 at 14:40 #1644971Monbeg Genius is NOT running today.
April 22, 2023 at 14:42 #1644973“Monbeg Genius is NOT running today.”
Comes as no surprise to me.
April 22, 2023 at 14:43 #1644974Elvis Mail also coming out of the race, according to Ed on ITV.
April 22, 2023 at 15:05 #1644994Plenty of my early shortlist made it, and still really keen on Flash Collonges and Famous Bridge (NR)in particular, while still think that Mighty Thunder should make the frame. He’s a fraction of the price I hoped for, and in a race where I’ll have enough on, I’ll leave him.
In the end, went with Coopers Cross. I really liked the way Coopers travelled at Doncaster, and it was a similar story at Aintree last week. Credited with a fall, when he was actually hampered and knocked over. I think he’d have won. On my radar for Aintree next year, and if over that race, I think he can surprise here.
I’ll bet Empire Ste in running if need be
1535 Coopers Cross 22’s EW 7pls/33’s
April 22, 2023 at 15:25 #1645003I’ll try Ruthless Article 50s ew 5pl b365
Should appreciate better ground and going left handed, trainer has won this before.
April 22, 2023 at 15:34 #1645009There’s been attempt to disrupt the race but police have dealt with it.
