Won’t Heathcliff improve a stone for going from Easterby to Richard Lee?
People moaning about there being AW racing in this Scoop 6 but that is surely preferential to this woeful selling hurdle at Huntingdon!
The simple reason….its NH time. Real horses. Not whippet racing at the beach.
November 22, 2008 at 01:48 #191199Deep into my form study now – using Racing Post and Timeform websites. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a race like the 3.30 at Huntingdon. Out of the 15 runners, Timeform rate 5 with a question mark and another 5 with a squiggle.

On Timeform figures he could regress by half a stone and still win with his head in his chest.
November 22, 2008 at 02:20 #191211OK – 3 hours form study and I’ve come up with this perm
Leg 1 – 2,5,7
Leg 2 – 3
Leg 3 – 9
Leg 4 – 3,6
Leg 5 – 12
Leg 6 – 4,5,8Incidentally, how do you work out how many lines that comes to?

Where are these real horses though? The fact that the only way the Tote could find a suitable race was by using this field full of goat herders doesn’t reflect well.
November 22, 2008 at 02:48 #191220Slight concern that Huntingdon may not be a sufficient test of stamina for Heathcliff as the Newcastle race was but leaving Reveley to go to Richard Lee is a positive.
Gone with a syndicate perm of 4x5x3x4x4x3

Doh! Does that make it 18 lines then?
November 22, 2008 at 02:59 #191225Yes – good luck with it……

Thanks – It’ll probably be revised when little brother has his twopennorth in the morning but I can afford to add another couple of selections as I’ve just had a successful half hour on Betfair poker.
November 22, 2008 at 03:35 #191243I meant Reveley, DJ!! Got my northern voles mixed up! Surprised you needed three in the last though
November 22, 2008 at 03:37 #191244I’ve gone 5x4x3x5x7x1 for our lot, with confidence low- the handicap chase is my bogey…..can’t have Gold Medallist as he needs to lead and so do at least 3 others in here.
November 22, 2008 at 04:00 #191251Either or Smithy, the end result shall be the same. The longer we spent on the Iast race, the more we fancied.
November 22, 2008 at 04:01 #191252I’ve had a tenner at 5.3 that it won’t be won!
