Wogan and Time for Rupert Non Runners 2pt win = 5pt profit
This week:Twigster the Tipster this Saturday’s tips:
Oscar Whiskey 2.40 Ffos Las 1pt
Wogan 3.10 Ffos Las 0.5pt EW
BINOCULAR 1.55 Sandown (NAP) 2ptsNot betting those below, but worth a second look:
Sofias Number One 4.00 Lingfield
Lovers Causeway 3.25 LingfieldFebruary 4, 2011 at 19:14 #339044Well the SP’s are appearing to going to look ridiculous.
February 4, 2011 at 20:38 #339047That’s one of the difficulties of producing the articles days in advance JJM. Plenty non-runners and collapsing prices on occasions.
Let’s hope they both hose up.
February 5, 2011 at 17:44 #339151Well 3 from 3, but not the most mouthwatering SP’s ever seen!
February 6, 2011 at 21:38 #339289Finding winners days in advance isn’t easy (establishing who will even run is difficult enough). However, Binocular and Oscar Whiskey?
Must be able to come up with something better than a couple of long odds on shots – I think we all knew days ago that these two would be long odds on.
February 6, 2011 at 22:27 #339295I know, with hindsight was a bit daft, and I apologise for that. I thought they would go off around the 6/4 shots each, with Peddlers Cross still expected to run at Sandown. I shall try and find value for you chaps next week!
February 7, 2011 at 21:36 #339428Sorry not a criticism as such, more a case of thinking through which race you are tipping in.
Good luck though as its very difficult to give tips on the day never mind 2/3 days in advance (with the exception of TAPK of course)!
February 11, 2011 at 21:26 #339951Article was written Wednesday:
Get Me Out of Here NAP 2pts @ 9/1
Joncol 2pts @ 9/4
Soldatino 1pew @ 10/1
French Opera 1pew @ 9/1February 12, 2011 at 20:46 #340257So +3.5 profit so far. Disappointed about Newbury, thought they would have hacked up, alas.
February 19, 2011 at 20:08 #341352I tipped up French Opera when Woolcombe Folly was still in the race and it was 9/1, unfortunately by the time the article was published, Woolcombe Folly was pulled out and the price slashed, d’oh!
Grand Crus 2pts @ 5/2 WIN + 5pts
Oscar Whiskey 2.40 Ffos Las 1pt WIN +0.29pts
Binocular 1.55 Sandown (NAP) 2pts WIN +0.2pts
Peddlers Cross 2pt Win WIN +0.32
Heez a Steel 1pt EW
Get Me Out of Here NAP 2pts @ 9/1
Joncol 2pts
Soldatino 1pew
French Opera 1pew @ 7/2 WIN +4.25 pts
Radium 4.30 Haydock (Saturday) 2pts
Silver By Nature 10/1 1pt ew WIN +12.5pts
Problem atic 1ptSo far, with Radium still to run tomorrow, I have:
12 Selections
6 Winners
20 points staked13.56 point profit so far.
February 20, 2011 at 12:12 #341425Lovely winner yesterday Jack and a great price too.
Off to a flying start with the column, particularly bearing in mind you’re writing the article 3 or 4 days in advance of the race. Well done.
February 21, 2011 at 14:28 #341584Radium ended up running at Market Rasen instead, twice in two weeks its plans have changed, still ended up winning, personally had a nice chunk on too.
