April 7, 2007 at 09:47 #712702:15 Newton Abbot – 15 runners but only a few have a realistic chance. High Life is consistent but has struggled to win and looks no value at 7/4. PLume D’oudaires may be better on softer ground and I’m unsure of the form of In the Lead. Valley Hall looks value imo and can run well fresh and may prefer the better ground. Trainer is in good form. Backed e/way at 10/1.
4:45 Haydock – Loulou Nivernais is favorite but his best form has come on softer ground. I like the chances of Lord On The Run who will like the ground and track. Finished third in his last run which was in a race where the form has worked out well. Backed e/way at 12/1.
