6.30 Sandown – Conscious 5/2
Load up lads and ladies! This horse is absolutely chucked in off a mark under 70. Both starts were this season (is a 3yo) but were over 1m and on both runs just looked like a horse that wasn’t primed for those outings, I firmly believe today will be the day. Ryan Moore now booked having had average jockeys on its first two runs.
Trainer Roger Charlton has just hit great form, with 2 wins from his last 3 runners – his last 5 runners finishing 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 3rd and 1st.
This horse has a full sibling that was trained by Gosden called Hyde Park and interestingly Hyde Park ran a lot as a 2yo but didn’t come into its own until a 3yo, winning a maiden on its 2nd start of that 3yo season over 7f on good ground at Doncaster, initially rated 85 in that maiden the horse was next seen with a rating of 93!
All the right boxes seem ticked for this one and I’m on, I hope you are too!!
July 23, 2020 at 09:12 #1494742I wouldn’t say it won’t lose but does look to have an outstanding chance
I’ve put a two pound piece on to be part of the party
good luck Ben…

July 23, 2020 at 16:42 #1494769Tend to agree, ran against some useful horses last time out doesn’t seem up against much at all here wouldn’t be surprised if wins quite cosily off a mark of 70 and 3 y/o allowance against exposed older horses. Hopefully pedigree will shine through. 3/1 as of now well worth taking IMO
