So it’s the return of the beast. Sprinter Sacre. Disappointed with the ground but breeding etc suggests it won’t be a problem. In fact S

Ifandbutwhynot – Second has just won, likes the ground, trainer in form, excellent jockey. Looks like one of those….

Please lets have a dry night.

He is such an imposing individual. I’m looking forward more to him than I think I was to Frankel at the start of his season. just gone, and that is saying something.

If Sanctuaire is going to beat him tomorrow may be his chance but I think the Henderson machine will take some stopping.

    I fully agree.

I’ve heard Henderson bemoaning that these two shouldn’t be meeting until Cheltenham but i disagree. It’s good for racing. Rematches are also good for the sport.

Think this is a problem with NJH and partly why he didn’t win the trainers title last season. He’s always worried about pitting horses against each other until a major race, whereas Nicholls often has multiple runners in a race. This and he somehow having a mental block on Exter and Wincanton, even Aintree until the spring.

Anyway, lets hope we have a race on.

Can’t be having Ifbutandwhynot at 3/1, most likely winner but interesting against him is Canadian Diamond, travelling strongly down to 2 out when un-seated in the same race, really impressive at Wincanton previously on first run for new yard, 10/1 is juicy lucy.
