On Sunday they had the going as Good at Chantilly when it was soft in the Racing Post and in reality.
For the 2yo maiden at Leopardstown on Thursday, Finn McCool is entered up but is still showing under the wrong breeding, as Shouk is not his Dam.
OK you might not know the breeding but they have him down on the card as a 6yo, running in race for 2yo’s only. At what point does it become obvious something is wrong?
I have tried emailing these clowns but tumbleweed blows by with no response, far less a correction.
Clashing races, cocked up commentaries and misinformation rife through the site.
Matt Chapman had the nerve to call ATR the best channel in the world.
I would probably have to sympathise with and condone any viewer who shouted back at the screen:-
“Yee ha, a**hole”
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 22, 2016 at 06:13 #1252801With reference to the going at Chantilly on Sunday Steve it was good, the Racing Post are normally incorrect, if you look at the meetings held at Auteuil, the Post always have the going as very soft even if the actual going on the day is good to firm.
With regards to the clowns at ATR, they never reply to emails.
Mike.
June 22, 2016 at 10:06 #1252820I remember a few years ago I noticed a cock up in the Racing Post…..the sponsors name of a race had the word ‘Hunter’ in it and the races were shown on the RP horse form pages as 5 furlong Hunter Chases but the horses were 2yo……

I waited for feedback from the jockeys after the first race at Chantilly on Sunday and Olivier Peslier described it as being “sticky”
It didn’t matter to me personally, because my bet was placed ante-post ages ago and at 14/1 on La Cressonniere I was happy whatever the ground to be honest.
I just feel punters deserve accurate and consistent information across the media outlets.
Perhaps litigation would tighten their standards up. The Racing Post is stuck to the walls in betting offices and if the information is incorrect I would suspect there would be a good case for arguing that your bet was based on erroneous information displayed by the bookmaker in question.
This personifies an attitude that seems rife amongst punters, ie Apathy. Perhaps many of these gamblers actually want to lose. Other than the odd moan about bad rides, it’s as if they don’t care. Of course many punters would not know New Year from New York and would rather back Big Dick in the Virtual Racing, ridden by jockey Richard Pecker, because they feel it reminds them of themselves, not realising the delicious irony that “Big Dick” sums them up to a tee.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
June 22, 2016 at 23:06 #1252859If the going was good Ballydoyle ran a stinker
Everything was suggesting soft, I popped into Ladbrokes with my brother and it was saying soft on the screens one of the main reason I went for Swiss Range.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
