I’m keeping everything crossed that Bedrock travels for this, and just as importantly, that the weather is kind.

Forecast looks favourable just now, so I’m fairly confident he’ll run here. He’s up against some hot rivals, who need no introduction, but he’s had a good season so far, and I thought he was worth a try at making the frame.

The 25’s with 3 Places which Bet365 are offering, might suggest he won’t be going, but on those terms, I’m happy to take a chance.

I think this race will cut up, which is why I took the 33/1 on Petit Mouchoir and 12/1 on Supasundae with Paddy’s like I’d suggested on Pat’s Ante Post comp. :good:

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Would love to see Bedrock here, Bobby. Must be ready to run having had entries in the Fighting Fifth and Christmas Hurdles.

I’ll probably have a couple of quid on Samcro for the Champion Hurdle before this race because there simply has to be something behind this insistence to target the Champion. These guys ain’t daft and Samcro must be showing something at home that he’s not replicated on track yet this season.

He did replicate it though joe, infact he improved behind BVD lto, was a career best performance from samcro

Just isnt in BVDs league, but as shown with finians oscar and many others, switching targets mid season isnt that straight forward

Problem is melon may well be the 2nd best 2 miler around atm if you take the view bvd was fine last season. I dont think samcro will be far away in this even if melon is 100%

I think that Supasundae looks the safe each way option in this at 10/1

Trainer of Bedrock says the horse likes good ground AND going right handed. So cross him off the list for the win if true.

Petit Mouchoir at least twice the price he should be. Backed him at 25s and at 12s without Samcro. Backed Bedrock at 14/1

    Good luck

With BD getting beat, I’d love to see a big big run from Samcro tomorrow to keep those antepost tickets alive for so many of us for the Champion Hurdle.

With Bedrock out, I’ll throw a couple of quid at Petit Mouchoir 18’s.

I´ve also gone for Petit Mouchoir at 25/1. On his old hurdles form he should be bang up there.

Jumping on the bandwagon a bit, but I’ve also had a bit of interest in Petit Mouchoir
(got him in my competitions) but I’ve missed the boat a little and only got him at
16s. He has a good shout on his old form and I see there seems to be a bit interest
in him on Oddschecker, although partly because of Bedrock not running. Good luck :good:

Want to see Samcro at his best here
Can excuse him a first time out loss and last time tactics were strange, would have lost anyway but going no pace really favoured BD at Newcastle. With that one losing the other day, could it be possible that off a Champion Hurdle pace and Cheltenham being a unique course there is still a bit of hope.
Hopefully they don’t go a crawl here

Looks like Sharjah now has to be considered a live CH contender – seems to have improved by leaps and bounds based on last seasons form.

That puts the final nail in the coffin on Samcro as a hurdler I think, need to switch to fences although I am starting to think that he may just not be as good as everybody was thinking he was (note most of his wins have been on very soft ground and on this better ground he probably needs a stronger test of stamina as well).

Melon definitely was not match fit there put to 20/1 for the CH after that is madness

Should be wary of the form going forward, tombstone finishing 3rd brings the form down
