There more chance of CH running in the GC than Shiskin this year
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 19, 2023 at 10:08 #1636099Your correct mike, comparing KS & APT to shishkin this season does not work, he started the season far from sound, had serious question marks and theres no guarantee he can uphold the form again
Theres absolutely NO chance he goes anywhere other than here now unless theres multiple high profile injuries in the CC or the GC
February 19, 2023 at 10:25 #1636110It’s Henderson , he’ll play safe , Henderson this morning …
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 19, 2023 at 15:21 #1636159Would be craazy to go to a GC.
Has just got the wheels back on the horse, lets run him over a trip he’s never even gone near before.
There’s be daring with a horse and there’s being daft.
This is daft.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 19, 2023 at 15:43 #1636162Exactly , win the Ryanair , prep then KG next season and then you look at the GC , if he wins the Ryanair then that’s 3 chelt fest wins , you can get 8s for the KG , that’s a lovely e.w price
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 20, 2023 at 18:30 #1636344Agreed
Just backed him at 8s for the KG
February 21, 2023 at 01:28 #1636396I honestly thought he,s be 5s, if he does sluice up in the Ryanair then it’ll def shorten , imagine if Allaho comes back ok ( I’m not convinced he will ) you could have Shiskin , BMG and Allaho going at it around Kempton … That would be some sight

March 15, 2023 at 18:23 #1639614Fury Road 22/1 ew for me, and Blue Lord 9/1.
Unfortunately I put both on before the reemergence of Shishkin.
Shishkin just wins here surely
March 15, 2023 at 19:04 #1639629Has the ground gone against Shishkin or because they will be going slower than last year’s CC where he was soon out of his comfort zone, will it not bother him? There is still rain in the area overnight but probably not enough to make the ground heavy – unless they water
March 15, 2023 at 19:11 #1639631I was thinking the same when coming home from the shops, Homer
Hard to tell.. its more a negative than if it was better going though
Last year he was coming off that gruelling encounter with Energumene and also if we believe what we are told and he is not a flat stallion prospect so no need to lie that he had a bone issue.
If the bone issue is no longer a problem and if Nicky has been able to either let him down and build him up or kept him to the same level as his last run that would be a positive.
Certainly an interesting factor thoughGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 15, 2023 at 19:15 #1639633Fury Road at 20s, from weeks ago.
Ground wont be an issue and i feel the 2m 4f will suit.
No other bets in this, for me.March 15, 2023 at 19:32 #1639642Fury Road for me,
If Shiskin wins then fair enough, but his win in The Ascot Chase has been overrated to me. He just won against horses he should have been beating
I bet Pic D’Ohry but beating him and a highly regressive Fakir is not form to go OTT about
March 15, 2023 at 19:50 #1639649Does Fury really like Cheltenham ? I’m contemplating having a couple of e.w goes , one is likely to be Ga law , he,s potentially the improver in a field of exposed horses
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 15, 2023 at 20:01 #1639657HDLG, he’s finished in a line once and PU the other….having performed there once i’d say he’s just fine? He PU at Punchestown afterwards too so i’d just say he was wrong at the time.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 15, 2023 at 20:08 #1639662It’s really all about Shiskin if he doesn’t bounce , can’t have Blue Lord and Hitman is to soft , Jack are you surprised Fury is so big ?
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 15, 2023 at 20:20 #1639668Snowden has seemingly decided to forego a crack at the grand national with Ga Law this year by deciding to run him in this.
He’s got a great engine but his jumping leave a lot to be desired.
25’s worth a small risk though.
March 15, 2023 at 20:26 #1639672Shishkin should be too good.
Blue Lord for me is a bet to nothing- yes he’s blatently no Shishkin, i actually think the trip is perfect for him and he has no ground issues. Also, as Energumene showed today, trust WPM to have him right for tomorrow.
Janidil for me runs best fresh, and i’d say he’s short enough now.
Fury Road is a hard one on the price, he’s never won at the top level in open company but his run vs Galopin really was promising for this trip. Softer ground is fine….i’d say he’s maybe a point or two too big at 11/1 but not massively overpriced given his concerns at the top-level.
